I liked Anarchy the most...The average player would earn a mirror in the league (90ex at the time).
Now the league turns to much like standard prices to fast... feels more like a recession. Like others have said--the roof of exalt rises faster than we can grind--- Now exalt has cost more than standard for a week? **just saying, not really complaining. " What are you going on about? There are still people who corner the market, there are still people who make a killing because they "no-life". The difference, as Deadpeng pointed out, is that the wealth gap is smaller (though not much smaller considering inflation) because unique items drop a little more frequently. With all the new items GGG keeps adding to the game, I'm glad that they upped the drop rates. Now if only map and currency drop rates, or at least Divine and Exalted rates, would go up as well or if GGG would give us a revamped trade system... Better yet, give me an offline version of the game (I'd pay good bucks for it) that gets core updates and can be modded on a whim so I don't have to trade with y'all and waste 3000 hours to build up a decent collection of items just so I can experience the aspects of this digital fantasy that I find fascinating. I also dont like how even mirrors are now not worth picking up

is that our enemies are human beings like us. They can only be our enemies in relative terms." |

I pick up mirrors all the time.
On a serious note: I only invest in legacy and mirrored items in standard right now. They keep their value more or less. The current unique meta is boring and the market is boring too, but I like the balance changes of 2.1. A lot of the old spells and attack skills have become much more viable and that's a good thing. So market is getting worse, but the gameplay is getting better. More gaming, less trading. Fine to me. | |
Not even a single game is balanced around "hardcore" players. Why would you ever balance around hardcore players when 90% of the community is playing casual. And dont tell me HC players are "hardcore" because they dont. Unless you hit 100 within 1-2 weeks in a new leage you're not hardcore at all. People like Havoc and Etup are "hardcore" but almost every other person claiming to be hardcore isnt hardcore at all.
OP has a lvl 87 character on his profil has done 6 Challenges and 54 Achievements. Unless you have multiple 100 characters in Talisman and every other recent league you're not even hardcore yourself. 7777777777777777777777777777777777777777 Last edited by Tr3Angel#1339 on Dec 30, 2015, 4:02:17 AM

" Lightning Coil went from a few chaos in 1.3 to a few exalts in 2.0. If you are here for "value", then play temporary leagues. When night falls

I prefer a game where trading isn't mandatory.
It still is to some extent, so there's obviously still work to be done. Participated in the working of the Dyadus Avatar of Fire Templar:

" Play std. I rarely have to trade anymore. I have nearly every unique. Whole tab of gloves. Whole tab of boots. 3 tabs of rings. well you idea. Just have a bunch of decent stuff I collected for almost 2 years now. Granted to get late maps for good drops I had to trade in two ladders I played (ambush/rampage) but not really anymore. I put together a this bladefall CI in 10 minutes with stuff I found over the years. https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1529917 Bought nothing. Git R Dun!
