nothing is valuable anymore
" But didn't you hear, they're not worth anything anymore. It would take effort to trade them to you, which is more than the 0c they're worth right now. |

I don't really understand it. When items are super expensive, everyone wants them to drop more frequently. Or, better yet, to drop for them so they can make a ton of currency. But when those items drop more frequently, everyone finally finds one and wonders why they can no longer get their bulging inventory of exalts. We can't have our cake and eat it to. You can only have one or the other. I think it's great that a lot of items have become more common so that the average player can play builds that they couldn't afford in the past. Shavs, even though they are still relatively expensive, are an achievable goal for almost anyone in the Talisman league. Great items are going for rates that aren't too expensive but if you find them at least they still sell for an exalt or so. I'd much rather be in this sort of economy.
Don't get me wrong, I really really like big ticket items as well. Skyforth is a really expensive item. I would feel really good if I found one and made an instant 25-30 exalts. I want items like this in the game but it doesn't mean that all of the items that used to be worth an arm and a leg still need to be. The item economy is changing. It always will. Enjoy the experience and take advantage of the changes. |

one of these days i´m going to offer my camels for trade,
not going to argue about the value of camels or any other T1 items here. But lets put it that way: Yesterday i theorycrafted a blockbowbuild with reversed knockback that pulls enemys into the "Maw of the Void" via a 0,1second righteous fire explosion on stun (did i mention i like to burn ?), and the best part was i didn´t have to sell any camels cause it was all just theoretical. I also feel its important to mention that every camel has its own value ! +VLFBERHT+

" Sounds pretty op in combination with veil of the night imo. GGG nerf camel ratio's pl0x. They are getting suspiciously close to 1:1 wife value. Peace, -Boem- Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

" Not sure if serious, but yes, it's just a game. The economy is in great shape, u mad? |

Some people just don't get it. Free items for all was not one of the reasons the game became popular in the first place. This is not about casuals, it's about people wanting instant-gratification. And if the game becomes like that, once worthwhile competition pops up the game will just die and these people will be the first to abandon ship.
Edit: Got to facepalm with the wiseass "just a game" comments. Then don't bother to post here trying to act all mature and cool, mainly the ones we need to do that are not. Last edited by RestInPieces#6294 on Dec 31, 2015, 8:58:40 AM

While many items are far more affordable... I've bought Kaom's Hearts and 6L for my various characters at prices around 5ex, and Drillneck for 1ex...
... I feel like I've had over 30ex this league in currency and items. And I didn't make money by giving items away for free. I found some nice rares worth 20c-1ex+, and similiar for uniques. But I also bought similiar as well. The game just feels exactly where it should be, to me. You can actually afford to buy a drillneck and let your level 36 character enjoy it without getting too afraid he'll rip it to standard (cause at 4ex you might not let him wear it till level 70, but at 1ex its just some fun and more reasonable a risk to take.) |
