List your AH fears

My greatest fear is that I get beaten to a good deal in Auction Houses is when I'm asleep or I get bought out by those rich end-game people who have a hoard of said items.

There could be a autobid feature.
Say you want a item that's roughly 10c.
The seller lists it at 5c, bidding ends in 12h.
You set your autobid range to "raise 1c" and "max 12c (total)".

Then you place the minimum starting bid 5c,
and deposit the remaining 7c (for the total of 12c max buyout)
and off you go to bed, dreaming about finding lots of exalted orbs,
which we all know will never happen so you cry yourself to sleep.

If someone outbids you, the AH tops that bid by adding 1c for you, from your deposit,
till either someone bids over 12c, or the time ends in which case you win the item.

There shouldn't be one. Autobid features are a crutch for buyers, allowing them to get items for prices which they know are unfair. Whatever you would set as your maximum bid, that is what you know the item is actually worth. Put your money where your real intentions are. In no way would I ever support autobid in a PoE AH.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

D3 AH didnt destroy D3.

D3 RMAH destroyed D3.

There is a real difference here and it saddens me so many of you can't see that.

We use poe.trade now like fiends, it's an AH and you all used it so why so against one ingame?

i'd welcome one in POE, all of these doomscenarios people listed here in this thread is already happening on poe.trade so wake the fuck up please.

As for stash tab sales even in D3 you could put up 10 items at once so i can't see why GGG couldnt implement this. And thus not screwing with tab sales.

Not sure I agree with your first point about it being only the RWAH that ruined D3 economy.

But your second point is spot on. Poe.trade has already been doing what everyone fears an auction house will do.

If anything having poe.trade, the noticeboard, and the chaos of trade chat all placed in one spot will reduce abuse by flippers by increasing the visibility of every transaction.
Keep PoE2 Difficult.
Still AH is the superlazy variant of trading.
I still would like kind of shops in the hideouts more.
Cant say anything positive about ah.

No problem I'll do it for you.

Increased ease of transactions.

Higher volume of trades.

Less time spent trying to trade.

Greater market efficiency (prices reflect actual value).

Trades can be completed while offline.

Negatives include:

Less social interaction? Lol check reddit for plenty of cases of that kind of 'social interaction'.

There are no negatives to an AH.

Keep PoE2 Difficult.

Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes
I just want to beable to buy items from people who are offline...those items that are like the perfect piece for your build and you go to whisper them an they're offline when it says the online vice-versa.
about 75% of the time when I go to buy a item they're offline.
