[Outdated] Zivko's CI Chaos Incinerate build - 200k dps / 10 000 ES

I was wondering what the higher level players' thoughts on the Corruption wheel next to Ghost Reaver were. I know that we have a lot of fire damage buffs on the gear, but I seam to remember that DOT scaling was better then fire damage when running searing bond. I could be wrong, but just wondering if anyone had toyed with it to see if it increases clear speed, if not tooltip DPS.

Incinerate is not damage over time skill. Also, both Corruption and Method of madness are decent wheels, but taking Snowforged or even traveling to another jewel socket would give more damage then spending 4 points on any of them.

Edit, nevermind.
Have to say, this is the most enjoyable leveling experience I've had in any game.Leveling as incinerate/flame totem just melts everything. I just went CI/leech at lvl57, 59now. Loving it. 3.5kES and 7k+ dps, never run out of mana, just melt everything lol. Yes get the consuming dark asap. It's another dps boost that wont show in tooltip but is at work - chaos resistance is very rare on monsters. Your flames will rip through them even harder and make u reflect immune while leeching alot more.

TS/Split/Ice arrow build by Neversink is a good build but requires balance between acccuracy rating and evasion to not one shot yourself on reflect. You have allready Atziris step and rats nest for nice base ammount of evasion, add high evasion chest (or queen of the forest) and spec some evasion nodes on tree. Having 40% dodge on top of that is also highly valuable. Being in your place I would keep the character and maybe consider selling drillneck only. You can use any decent rare quiver for 1/10 of the drillneck's price and lose maybe a few thousand dps.
I've got my The Consuming Dark really cheap for 6ex so about Drillneck's price. Sorry for the off top. Just hit lvl 80 with your build, made the shadow version.
My dps is still too low to attempt Atziri (9k on tooltip) also I don't have a high lvl empower yet. Here is my gear : Almost 8k ES, I would really like to 6L my chest and try empower + slower/faster projectiles to see if the dmg difference is good or not. Also I was wondering if this jewel might get some use since we are doing a ton of chaos damage : Will probably try to put it on the witch area and see how that go. " Well no :) You can count from 0 and maximum stage this way will be 3, and you can count from 1, 1 being a state when you're not firing and maximum stage that way will be 4. @Lordofthedreadz I would recommend 2 things to improve your dmg output before even thinking of 6l that mantle. First - lvl up incinerate to 20 or try to buy lvl 20 with 20 quality on it (its not that expensive and range boost from quality is great addition towards comfortable play). Second - you need spell dmg on your shield badly (thats around 50% spell dmg increase that you are missing!). Cheers. The jool is very sexy btw.
