Not really relevant, since almost all hard whiners about those new mods are the small crafters, not much the ones who are using mirrored gear.

I don't care wether or not chris ever said that, the only thing that matters to me is that i don't like the direction ggg are taking regarding item mods and their tiers.

I'm all for new* mods but i am a bit disappointed in ggg adding new tiers to pre-existing mods.
These new tiers serves no real purpose. It's like they are introduced just to fuck with the player base.

That doesn't preclude that sometimes it might be necessary, rarely, and Chris hasn't said otherwise.

Just understand that: yes - Chris absolutely has said something about it in the past.

That was literally the point of my post. He has said something about it. He has said it's something we don't, in general, want to do. He has not said that we will not do it, or that there won't ever be circumstances required where despite the negatives, it's the best option for the good of the game.

The OP, which I responded to, asked whether he had said we would not do this, and the answer to that question is no.

No offense but that is quite a weak defense on behalf of Chris, by using silly semantics. Just because he didn't say he never will, doesn't mean that the impression he gave to the community was anything other. Then there is the additional issue that no, there is never actually a need to have higher level mods, it isn't vital in any way shape or form for the "better of the game" and you know that Mark.

I don't play standard so I don't care for the changes, infact I like them - personally I was a bit annoyed in the past by getting the impression from Chris that there won't be higher tier mods (again you don't need to repeat that he didn't say you will NEVER do this, please that is an insult to our intelligence).
