The game, any game, needs to evolve to stay relevant and exciting.

If, for some reason, GGG decided to never create new affixes, or to never adjust old ones, the game would become stale (as it has already for some, in this regard).

If GGG wants to continue to evolve PoE and as a company in general, it needs to make changes. Take lock-step, act IV, even Atziri (which is the my least favorite of the previous examples), these are evolutions in PoE. Which will lead to more changes and improvements.

Asking for them (GGG) or the player base to stagnate seems like a silly idea. As I said in a previous comment: players who have mirrored gear (or the original "mirror worthy" gear) can just go and do it again. There's nothing stopping them from doing so. And when even more affixes are added X months/years from now: they can do it again...nothing is stopping them, unless they stop themselves.

i dont think the current top tier items will be "invalidated" any time soon. by that i mean, that even with these new mods, almost nobody will have items as good as the current ones.
and to those that say their "perfect" gear is now no longer "perfect", is your gear 100% divined to absolute perfection? if not, its not "perfect" anyways, and you have no reason to cry about it.

I'll address this point since you seem to think that this direction is some kind of evolution for Path of Exile. No one is arguing against the new miss being introduced at all, it is the introduction of a new tier for previous affixes. It for one makes not sense since it's not necessary in the but for the current progression of characters and then still is overkill.

And for you to say that the current game is stale because mobs need to be stronger and therefore you need better gear, makes no sense. How is the moving of goals for you to chase further going to make it more fun and fresh in any way?

-No Desync is not an evolution, it's a fix to a flaw.
-Act IV adds content to New players the most but what about those already too high for the new areas in Act IV.
-Atziri is actually the only thing that made some sort of impact on PoE's evolution on your list. Like it or not it added another dimension to end game which is what this game needs.
You fail to mention Jewels and Divination cards which are also actual evolutions, but that's beside the point to the OP.

And lastly the drive for such people to create these gears is one of 1) out of necessity (use) or 2) or for profit. This process relies upon the assumption of crafters being bothered to re-craft almost everything that is BiS, with the knowledge that it's going to become as costly as the first time, since the process is heavily RNG gated. The risk is further amplified by the underlying assumption of "will I ever be able to recoup crafting costs?," which if you're wondering will probably not be likely the closer the next Act is added.

You also think will people are willing to mirror something that is currently perfect, but push past that nagging voice in their head saying "it's not gonna be worth less and less" after every day that passes? I don't know how good you are at Path of Economy but it will only force people to do what I gather from most people that they absolutely hate

people doesnt want to mirror perfect item, they even don't give a shit if what they mirror is not the best one. Again the most mirrored wand is not the best one, it's the cheapest one.
People will continue to mirror what they can afford, nothing else.
There will be new 6xT1 gear ? at which price ? you don't know, what is sure is that the fee will reflect the craft difficulty in some way, and the exclusivity for sure. In any case, you will still find people mirroring best 1.3 gear, because they can't afford more.

Mirror gear is anyway devalued over time, even without new tiers, because of new FOTM builds, because of balance patch, because of new gear synergies, because of new skills , because of many things, the +3 % more damage of new tiers is even neglictable compared to all those parameters.

If you don't know what 'obsolet gear' means, go play a Blizzard game.

From what I heard the rulers of trading such as axn are very hesitant to even make the new T1's which is understandable.

How do you know that having perfect rares is boring then?

Because i've been playing games for 25+ years? Just because I don't strive for that in PoE maybe i've had similar experiences elsewhere? hence why I play leagues, this game was designed to avoid the pitfalls of endless sameness. You obviously enjoy a static experience, maybe something offline that never grows or evolves is better suited to your tastes?

Getting the good stuff in a game is endlessly more enjoyable than having it. GGG thinks this was a good move, I personally like it too. Keep telling me why I shouldn't though?
