That's not how that works, you can't strongly insinuate you're going to avoid higher item mod tiers and then introduce a higher item mod tier.
It essentially renders Chrises' promises unbelievable.
Either tell people you will be introducing higher item tiers with lower frequency or tell us it will never happen. But don't try and pull the wool over our eyes with half-words like the original promise.

Nobody went against any rules. chris said some words and you interpreted them to mean exactly what you wanted him to be saying. Not what he actually did say. No promises implied or otherwise.

I like your solution though. Leave PoE in it's current state for those who want to play the old game and release PoE 2.0 for everybody who wants the game to keep evolving. I think you and the other dozen people who want to keep playing 1.3 will have a a great time.

Given that they were already working on act 4 at release, I'd say you can expect to have 2-3 years between new acts. That's plenty of time considering some people can get mirrored gear in a 4 month league.

I'm curious to know if anyone "contributing" to this thread has ever even used Mirrors and Eternals, my guess is probably no.
