Wonder if there's gonna be another "finish the main quest and play no more" ending, or not. I hate the notion of deliberately deferring completing the critical mission because it means you don't get to play anymore after the closing cinematics. At the very least, that would mean waiting until some/all DLC had dropped before starting to play, in order to get past that (assuming things work as they did in FO3). ='[.]'=

I agree with ya, that was kinda shit. As long as they don't end it on an "everything blows up..again" note it should be ok.

I must admit, on my first playthrough I nuked the shit out've Megaton. I'm more of a condo in a tower kinda guy anyway

Figgered you'd hunt for a mod letting you doss in the Dunwich Building. =^[.]^=

I didn't have a PC good enough to run it back when I originally played it. I was on the 360 so I never got to mod it :/. Dunwich building was so cool/creepy!

Very detailed analysis of the trailer, including supporting evidence for the veracity of the old Kotaku script leak:

Yes I did!! I played them all, even the wonky Mothership Zeta one. Point Lookout was fantastic, def my favorite of the DLCs

Based on an Italian game site, FO4 is scheduled for release October 23 of this year:

This video adds some compelling evidence to support that date (and some more analysis of the trailer):

^ Beth if not nothing else know marketing. Their machine is impressive. They rarely tease stuff until its almost ready. Oct/Nov 2015 would be my guess.

Hell, the day the teaser went up you could already buy FO 4 merch on their site lol

ZiggyD's take on the trailer and implied game engine:

What makes this video especially interesting is a comment with this link to a Reddit post made almost a year ago:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Fallout/comments/28v2dn/i_played_fallout_4/

The predictions made in that Reddit post have started to come true. It's just possible that Bethesda did terminate an employee who was disgruntled enough to spill the beans. We'll see how it all pans out. =^[.]^=

ETA: Here's another Reddit thread in which the veracity of the predictions is hotly debated:

The MMO they were talking about has come, gone and failed; ESO.

Eso is the best game i've played since PoE, no doubt.

Of course, i never liked the old elder scrolls games, it was a bit too much weird and not enough fluent combat and hack n slash. Skyrim was a step away from their older ES style, and eso is even further away, which makes it a better game to play for me.

Most people that go with the standard misconception of eso are those who either;

1) mad it isn't skyrim or older single player elder scrolls, and don't see eso for what it is
2) those who never played it and just go with the word of number 1

It's a masterly game, just a shame people never will know due to mad number 1 raging coz they didn't get what they wanted.

It's a bit like D2 fans and their disappointment with D3. If the game you're going to make is so far removed from what it was based upon, don't be surprised when those who wanted more of what they were accustomed to express their unhappiness. It's like labeling a jar "peanut butter," then filling it with Nutella. Nutella isn't necessarily bad, but people who want peanut butter are gonna be unhappy with you. ='[.]'=
