the exp loss is the only thing that makes me not want to play anymore.
i get salty dying in any game but exp loss and the time/currency you lose from rolling maps just adds to the frustration. |

I will avoid the discussion mostly (I can't take sides for many reasons), but I have a question: Isn't losing map portals enough punishment because of the waste of currency?

" Probably not. But if you lose the entire map + any experience gained in the map, it might be enough. Benefits group play, though (rest of group can finish map + retrieve map drops). My problem with lag deaths has slightly reduced since the installation of the Brazil server, but that is counterweighted by the fact that I am now at 92, so levelling becomes a lot harder (also due to missing map drops, if I could chain 78s I probably wouldn't have as much of a problem). So, I still think it sucks. Have to admit though that the last deaths were not mostly lag deaths. Two were just because of high latency (and not additional lag), one was careless play, one was because of Malformation Piety (room was so full of shit that I could not see her). The two before that were because of lag I think (latency spiked from 80-100ms stable to 1700ms out of nowhere). Remove Horticrafting station storage limit.

Why exactly do you need to keep levelling up? I mean, that's the point of decreasing returns (or so GGG says), and those last points won't bring you a lot of power.

Me? I want to get one more level to get one more jewel slot before I try Uber again.
If I can get to 96 (probably never going to happen), I could get another one (and some more damage). Could also get some more mana / mana regen to support a 6link, which I can't at the moment. Remove Horticrafting station storage limit.

I wonder if people would care that much if levelling those last levels were cosmetic only, and the points would be obtainable elsewhere.

How about remove death Penalty, but add something like, All Mobs's remaining HP restore to triple of what the remaining is. (if the boss have 25% hp and he manage to kill u, the come back the boss have 75% hp left)
