Like, I don't even care about your phobia or how severe it is, that's completely irrelevent as far as I'm concerned, you want to change someone else's art because it offends you personally. The worst kind of people.

Seriously, why are people afraid of spiders so much?
They are one of the nicest and most useful creatures.
I live in a country with a relatively large amount of mosquitoes, so spiders often help me out by munching all those evil bloodsuckers.

Unless you live in Australia, then your fear might be a little more justified because of their 15-cm-long poisonous spiders. But other than that, they're quite nice.

I find this more interesting as an academic exercise than anything else. If you don't have a phobia, you can't really understand someone else's phobia. And if someone has arachnophobia - they are crazy afraid of spiders. OK.

But these are not spiders - they are digital images on a screen that are obviously not real. I am surprised to learn that the phobia still holds true for them.

In general, I'd not be a fan of someone asking someone else to change something to accomodate something specific to their oddness. But he asked nicely, wasn't demanding. And now GGG can decide if they want to invest the time to change it or not. Not really our business to commment or pass judgement.

There is a difference between:

a) You see a person with psychological problem and you are willing to help;
b) Person with psychological problem goes all over the internet (as he said that himself) and says "look at me, i have a problem and you all have to change because of me".

As i said: "Thats a bit "lazy" and egocentric" and that is true. If he spent as much time healing his phobia as he spends making "requests".... there probably would be no problem

On the bright side you get an additional thrill that noone else gets while playing.
