How much? Offer
" Oh sure, you ask for an offer because you expect them to come close to your price. :D If you are telling the truth (wich i doubt tbh) you are doing it wrong. If you simply state a buyout others can still make an offer close to your price, and you are more likely to sell. One of the reasons why is that people that don't like haggling are more likely to pay your high b/o than your item flipper. If all you say is offer, expect lowballs. If someone doesn't know the value of the item you refuse to put a price on, they aren't idiots for lowballing by the way. If they just want to make a profit flipping they will lowball as well. " I was just picking OP's word, who said "douche" for the guy asking "offer". "Douche" isn't my word. I never called someone "douche" for asking me what is the price of an item. Learn to read. Stop making assumptions. IGN : @Morgoth Last edited by Morgoth2356#3009 on Aug 7, 2014, 8:21:52 AM

One of these days GGG will sell their IP to Activision, and Activision will go "How much?" and GGG will go "Offer" and Activision will go "2 bucks" and GGG will go "Fuck you noob, ignore".

Back on topic. Still don't know why people are so uncomfortable stating a price. If your not trying to gouge the other guy for as much currency as possible then I would think you would be happy giving a price and haggling from there if necessary. That way the buyer doesn't have to guess at would the seller would be happy with and a bunch of time isn't wasted.

" I always give a price when someone asking for it (and that means 90% of people whispering IG). I never say "offer". On the other hand, I always give my seller an offer, never asking for price first (I may do it when he thinks what I think is fair isn't for him). Because I prefer the "offer" way, for the reason I already stated : prices aren't set in stone, so someone that see a "8 c b/o" on my shop and that want to give 5 most likely won't contact me, when I could discuss with him and lower my price. Because "8c" is not its price, it's what I thought in the first place the item could be worth (=/= price in a store for example). And yes, don't get me wrong, it may happen that someone could give me an offer when I thought it wasn't worth that much, but honestly (and I think you'll agree with me on that one) I think it almost never happens. People always tend if not to "lowball" (I don't like that word), at least to give the most-little-but-hopefully-still-decent-offer they can when they have to offer. " BRAVO! I hope GGG will act that way not only to the company but to people that propose changes that make poe look like it was developed by Activision. I'm a forum warrior, i was born to post, raised to defend my league. Now my post has been removed, chained and exiled by mods who Ban. Ban is my brother; i do not fear it. I see it in the eyes of men and beasts that i troll. It will take me to play the actual game when i am ready and i am not ready. Last edited by Pyrokar#6587 on Aug 7, 2014, 9:04:45 AM
