It is a change that affects the whole player base.

We changed it away from the new statues because we agreed with some of the feedback. We're trying to be very clear that they're going to change again in the future.

We listen to all our players. The forum only represents a small fraction of total players, but the feedback is absolutely taken on board. Having said that, some peoples' behaviour in that thread was terrible.

Here is the first rule of the original SRS:

That menu button stands out too much, it's distracting. It should be toned down.
Also flasks look like they are levitating, they are floating in mid air.

Old UI was finished product, this is not, sorry.

I like this version more but I'm still not a fan of text on a ui, the idea of the points icon as the button is a good one.

At this point most people cheering for the removal of the girls are trolls.

I can't believe GGG still intends to remove the girls after massive complaints. The art direction GGG is taking is really bad. Why do they intend to replace them with roman statues? GGG has been accused of copy and pasting art multiple times.

The last thing GGG should be doing is copying roman art. They should be inspired not copying.

What is even worse is that GGG games think they are making a roman statues. Google "roman statue original colors" and tell me you want roman statues. GGG art decisions are art sins.

And why does GGG think the "roman" statues fit better with the direction they are taking? The shop button and flask area fiasco shows GGG has a funny idea of matching. Also, does "roman" art match with swamps, forests, and pocket hell dimensions? I was already getting sick of "roman" art that already exist in the game. Are we going to see anything unique?
