If you're going to craft boots from scratch, why wouldn't you use the vendor recipe to get a 30% movement speed? Wouldn't that be the obvious starting point?

I needed dex on them while having also a good ES roll and move speed.
I proceed to search at poe yzx, and surprisingly, I find something interesting. BUT JUST 1 RESULT. There are no eva boots on the whole market that have a good ES roll and movespeed.

Once at the very start, yes. But then lets say you get a crap aug, what are you going to do? Scour and repeat the vendor recipe? How many magic 25% ms boots do you have laying around to repeat that process? I think it's probably easier and not a lot less efficient to just do it once at the start then carry on with alts assuming the initial aug doesn't produce a T1 suffix.

If you've been trying to eternal/exalt for max movement speed then it's no wonder you think everyone else must be cheating and that boots can really cost 300ex to make. They are crafting in a vastly more efficient way than you.
Is there any source to check the different chances to roll a certain affix? Sounds like common knowledge.

I will stop it then. My next objective would be to craft boots ( as I can't buy decent ones that fits what I want to do ), is it hard to get max STR along with 30% movespeed on hybrid boots ? Are ES rolls harder to get on hybrid boots than on regular boots ?

Afaik they aren't yet publicly available/verified for all item types yet, but the data on this page has been confirmed as accurate by Chris (on Reddit iirc). That's where I got the numbers for Glyphic affix from in my post on the previous page, and it's why I said it's a known probability for wands but that I'm only guessing it's the same for shields.

Okay brah, do you have 200 eternals? If the answer is no - then stop crafting the shield.
Invalesco's guide is really nice but imho - it doesn't come with practical examples, I could give you a billion examples of how I alt-regalled a ring whilst levelling at the start of a league and it was better than anything available to buy (life, res, boom)
