isnt hard to detect and ban botters when they are always doing the same areas again and again, for weeks...
btw OP post is full of insults directly to ggg "you" , pretty weird while it was supposed to be posted in another website ...

Chinese botters are going to farm the same zone for weeks. They don't care what happens as they will just make another free account. An actual person botting to fill in the gaps they can't play during will absolutely not farm the same spot for weeks.

I have a friend who bots D3 and WoW. He's had the bot do so many different things over the years, then plays by hand when he has the time. He doesn't sell shit, or RMT, he purely uses it to get more play time in on the game. How many times as he been banned? Very very few times, mostly when blizzard found a way to identify a group of players. Then the bots evolve and get better and the chances of getting banned get slimmer.

If you watch someone who actually bots all the time and takes the time to learn the bots, how they work (settings wise, custom profiles, etc) they become extremely hard to pick out of a crowd due to how unbot like they can seem.

12 threads simultaneously? 64 GB ram? Wtf, thats a monster, not a PC lol. Where do people get such machines from?

Great post, had good laughs reading it.

6 core Intel. The new Haswell-e model that comes out soon is 8C/16 threads. Been saving to build my new rig for awhile, and that's what I'll be using.

Does that include your graphics cards? Because, fuck man, you have an amazing system, and I would love pretty much any piece of it :P

My 12core/64gb computer at work can barely play one instance of Poe (during my lunch break).
I am amused. You may continue.
Well damn. I feel like I need to send more cash GGG's way now... but, on the other hand, I'm more of a sucker for the supporter packs than straight points :P
I have wandered through insanity;
I have walked the spiral out.
Heard its twisted dreamed inanity
In a whisper, in a shout.
In the babbling cacophony
The refrains are all the same:
"[permutations of humanity]
are unworthy of the name!"

Well, I have an intel i7 970 and it's hexacore with hyperthreading, so 12 threads.... But to be honest I rarely run programs that can take full advantage of that, but it's nice to have when I do. I don't have 64 gb of ram because I never run programs that need it.

I bought on the high end. Don't need to upgrade any time soon :P Helps that I got the processor for only $200.
