I did played ambush for a bit and the 2 week race. Map drop still sucked because i was not lucky enough to get carto boxes in my maps...

Then buy 75 maps for like 2c each to build your pool....

Nope, i refuse to have to trade to play content...i'd like to keep the orbs for what they're supposed to be : trading ! Oh wait...

The title says it all. It has been a issue for as long as I remember, they have not done anything about it after all this time, so it is safe to say this is the way it is.

Game is unrewarding they know it, and they dont care.

I'm farming dominus with 129/420 all day long and i can say hat nothing changed. Best loot since patch was a divination distillate. All benefits for me come in alterations...

Havent passed about the 2 second page in this thread and have read this last page and i must say i kinda but only in some or your arguments or opinions with you. im playing this now for 1 year or so? not really trying to find something since the last couple of weeks (dominus farming and a bit piety.

since the 2 weeks i've found 3 alphas howl, 2 thiefs torment, 2 carcass jacks, 2 maligaro's gloves, 1 rotp, 3 cloak of defiance and many more "low" worthy exalt items.

also i have to add, that this on standard where ppl usually dont buy anything. standard because i died to flames of cload @docks with lvl 69 and got really mad about my stupidity and havent even tried out mapping whatso ever endgaming. the solution was standard.

till the new league begins ill playing and learning about my build and maybe others there.
long story short. there are couple of other ways to make currency only through big drops. like collecting all the low 1c uniqs and making chance orbs out of them.

you wouldnt believe it if i tell you that i've farmed over 600-700 chance orbs in 5 days and ofc the drops from bosses aswell. the best you can do is with a mate doing all this or in a bigger group you trust.

bigger story short > i havent experienced the "unlucky" big drops due long time playing so far, cuz im playing only 2 weeks or so the game more intese than before.

I also find these kind of items from time to time, but the problem is that when they drop i'm not even happy anymore. What will i do with the 5 same cloaks or alphas ? If i want to benefit from them i would have to rely on rtading (once again) to maybe be able to buy a 150 exalt item after monthes wich i won't feel rewarding. I currently have 17 stash tabs full of uniques. I'm paranoid and keep most of them cause i'm afraid they'll go legacy at some point so i store them :s . Before facebreaker nerf for exemple, i vendored like 10 pairs of 800-900% ones ^^

Maybe some kind of tokens could be implemented. Everytime you kill a boss or clean a map, you earn tokens that after a long time you could spend them to get a really high end drop or something. It would probably takes ages to get them but at least you know you're progressing toward a goal instead of praying for something that can easily never drop for you.
