That or just flat-out wrong. People have lost so much perspective here. There are REAL 'scrub sim city park trade games' out there and they're nothing like PoE. Don't blame the game because you choose the path of least resistance. The only alternative there is to NOT have a path of least resistance, and I don't think there's anyway in this day and age for GGG to do that with an online-only game. One way or another people will find methods to circumvent the game as it's meant to be played -- and like or not, item indexers do just that, since GGG said 'no Auction House, ever!' and there's xyz, because The People Wanted One After All.

GGG made this game WITHOUT an AH in mind, which is why when one comes along, it completely destroys their attempts at 'hardcore'. Now they're in a constant state of tail-chasing, making their subtle war against this third party trading solution.

You want PoE to be hardcore? Play it hardcore then. Don't use item indexers. Deal only with the trade chat, if you're that desperate. Don't read the guides of others and just do it your way. Fail a few times. Fail more than a few times. Learn a bit more each time. Eventually, you won't entirely suck.

and giving horrible advice on trying to make the game "hardcore" when theres so many things that will one shot you

if you ever want to see end game you do one of the OP builds or just make a 50 exa facetanker and that sounds pretty hardcore

I have two screens. It's very simple for me to pause mid-dungeon or sit in town BSing with the guildies and post here. Almost as easy as it was for me to do 25+ posts a day at my old job.
