The hell's wrong with this community? There are some serious dick posts here.
Arachnophobia's a real thing, and people that suffer from it don't lack in masculinity or intelligence. If you troglodytes would bother to do some reading, the phobia's been discussed in games a LOT recently, mainly because spiders are a go-to enemy type for a lot of games. And a lot of people suffer from arachnophobia, hence. Also to that guy that suggested just "confronting" it: that type of therapy has a name, it's called Exposure Therapy, and it only works in extremely controlled environments with a trained psychologist present. Phobias are not logical, they are not rational and they are extremely hard to live with. This could be a cash shop option to change the monster models client side. I'm not a programmer so I have no idea whether or not this is even possible, but it doesn't make the OP a dick he is just expressing his anxiety while playing because of his irrational fear which he admits too.

" OP doesn't just dislike spiders, they cause a physical and powerful reaction when he spots them. Think of it like if you walk over a street and see a car heading straight for you at high speed, the feeling you would have then is about the same that the OP gets when he sees a spider in the game.
