What this Passive-Reset Proves.
" I haven't used any tools other then the unofficial wiki to research some gameplay mechanics and the official GGG Tree Planner on their website when I can't be assed loading up the game. Majority of stuff is learned from the game, in-game tooltips, the Forum and General Chat channel (In that order). No one thinks it's okay to take part in RMT and no one thinks passive skill resets will stop or hinder RMT in any meaningful way, all it will do is increase/exasperate pre-existing problems in the current metagame for those that don't partake in RMT. You're right that more info should be provided in the game with regards to the skill tree and how it interacts with your character, I will agree to that. " Thank you, that is all i want people to see, that it's not just about me, i actually know where to look if i wanna play the normal way, but hundreds, thousands of people completely green, joining the game, they should at least be made more informed about the value of items/currencies when in the same game world people have so much more knowledge than them and as we speak, people of more knowledge are EXPLOITING unexperienced players because they really don't know what the value of anything really is, unless they go to the exchange pages and the vendor recipe pages and properly understand the system, which should be made available to everyone because people like myself don't go check what the vendor recipes are, because there is hardly any indication to it being there. Many people only do it after being ripped off a few times (i directly attribute this to the lack of info) Why do people here wanna keep PoE as a NON FRIENDLY Game to New players. By that i mean the difference of visible/accessible knowledge among the players. I am still pissed at them for not " Putting the[single] selling price of an item on it's tool tip", don;t you think that would instantly give someone an info that they would have to look for every time for each item, I think this would also Eliminate the constant "PRICE CHECK PLEASE" Spams on the global chat. Another thing that they can do to stop the Trade Chat spams and improve item transactions between people is ; " Make a Zone, like a town, with it's own WP, a huge area, like a bazaar, people who want to SELL or BUY can go there, people who wanna sell items will put up shops(because if you are gonna sell items, might as well dedicate to it and reduce the spam Substantially :P. Then the players who wanna buy an item, can go there, and on a search box, type the item theyre looking for, and find the person selling it. Easy. Much better than spending hours spamming the same thing on chat :\.... Well the idea is very raw as i doubt they'll do it ,but hope they do. " I can understand why you would think that. But the thing is, this started out real nice, a week or two back, on steam, it was goin good. small responses to small responses, with decent manners. Then there are some people who come to a Thread with a mindset which is not ready to even accept a possibility of change or of the current passive system being inefficient. Then the same people come to criticize my opinion, telling me that i am wrong, which is fine, but if you call someone wrong, you should yourself be prepared to be proven wrong in the process, and i am pretty sure that a lot of what i wrote is not wrong/ better than what ggg has now. Now how can this truly be a player driven economy if GGG puts a selling price on an item's tool tip. That would make it an GGG driven economy. GGG cannot set prices for the items in the game. Also you will notice that the one you are replying to did not use any special downloaded program or claim to have got a perfectly optimized build just by making a few clicks here and there. Yo, guys. I am not presenting a case here. I am not guilty of anything. Stop acting like you are a jury or something, no, you are just a bunch of people arguing about a game,lol. Just like me, nothing more, nothing less. I am calling someone wrong, because they are wrong. The reason to that is the fact that everytime i ask something, they come up with the same answer, and i just keep repeating the same thing over and over again. I am not saying EVERYONE ELSE IS WRONG. I said, the people who think the current passive tree is good the way it is, ARE WRONG, as myself among others, have already stated enough reasons for it to change, but i guess the people just wanna let other players get exploited, push players to Online Stores which sell everything, make them re roll the same class again and again instead of giving the freedom of making 7 individual class' characters and allowing to work on them every week, removing the dependency on third party tools, which are the only way to fully understand the passive tree without getting fucked in the ass by the Grind Monster, through out the game's life.
When people relate Grinding to fun, that's their opinion, stop shoving it down other people's throat, you guys aren't even ready to let ANY F**KING OPTIONS BE APPLIED, and then you shut up when they patch whatever they want,allow people to run BUY2WIN Shops, promote Copying of the builds(Proven by the huge lump of builds everywhere, which you deny again, and again, and then people expect me to keep my cool, after saying the same shit for over 2 weeks,lel. " There was one player that you replied to that never did download any special planner or even used poebuilder like so many other players do. And all that does is add up the numbers for you. It does not give you the most optimal route in a few clicks like you seem to think it does. There is not a single tool that I know of that will do that for you. Also you will not admit that you do not want to go through the same process that everyone else went through to get their builds. Which is trial and error and learning from other players. You want to get the same results as those that did the research and put forth the extra effort but without having to put in that extra effort because it is all there for you in the game. Making a system where you just cannot fail. There are thousands of players that have posted threads in the trading forums and those are quite active. So that means that those third party sites selling items are not getting as many players as you think. You also do not want to admit that you are wrong when told that your idea will mean that there will be no meaningful choices anymore. You will not have to think about every point you spend. Heck why bother to keep regret orbs or have refund points if we would get a once a week Johnny on the spot respect. You are just someone that is like a person that wants all of the things that those that have put in more time than he did but without putting in that time and effort. Like a WoW player that wants to be able to just jump right in an be able to raid without ever practicing any rotations or getting the right buffs, or even bother about learning the fights ahead of time. Look if you want to be able to make your own builds without that extra effort then just keep failing at making builds until you learn the basics of what makes a good build. Which if you played as much as you claimed to you should already know. Which means you should know how to make a good for fun build that will clear all difficulties and maybe even be able to do some maps. There is no big mystery here. Just using the things here at the official site and the wiki is all anyone needs in order to have a good build. Heck I am doing just fine with my witch build on ambush league. I have not encountered any problems that I could not overcome with a little strategy and effort. |
