Agree with pretty much everything except crafting needing to be better. Getting the best gear in the game that outclass high tier uniques should really require a serious time investment.
I'd like to add to the list that I really wish there was an extra tier of item rolls that you could get in the lower maps. 66-70 maps are pretty much completely useless except for getting the higher ones. And until luck decides to throw you a bone you are stuck in that area for quite some time. With piety dropping such good loot + very often a 66 map you might as well just skip 66+67 maps all together. They take longer to clear, cost currency to roll (yes, very small amount, but you need to save every penny you have to look for the fabled tyrannical roll) and you will only get worse/less drops. Also always found it really weird that some of the map bosses are really not well balanced. For example bog snake vs wharf snake. I've played several characters on hardcore/onslaught/nemesis past lvl80 and never ever seen anyone die vs the bog snake even with insane mods, but vs the wharf snake you see noobs getting 360 noscop'd all day. You also have plateau rhoa, and the bazaar curtains that hits for less than a power critt blue mob. Meanwhile there's the orchard boss that even on lvl89 with 5,8k hp I've still not dared to challenge. [quote="Hilbert"]

Desync obviously is a problem, but as for maps, I just think the lowest level ones should be purchasable. Maybe for 1 chaos or something. I dunno.
Everything else, I disagree with strongly. 6 links shouldn't be easy to obtain. You shouldn't be guaranteed one. The whole point of a random loot game is the random loot. Easily being able to obtain the best loot will ruin the game. Same with OP builds. People will get bored quickly and move on to other games. Bullshit, you get the game for free.

" No offense, but I'm guessing you've never actually played any of the games that would be considered "predecessors" to PoE? D1, D2, Titan Quest, Fate and so many others all had MANY op builds. Those games were successful for a reason. I NEVER said a 6L should be easy to obtain. In fact, I only even mentioned 4 and 5 links, and said failure should have diminishing returns. I never mentioned a guarantee of any sort. As for you wanting low level maps to be purchasable, that pretty much shows me that you're not quite at the level of "end game" that my OP referenced. Trust me, no one with the ability to chain 78's has ANY problems getting their hands on 66-73's. |

" I just did a Q94 lvl 75 map and what did I get 3 maps, I was happy, but wait.....the levels...66,71,72 from a Q94 lvl 75 map. wow can a map 9 levels lower drop, and didnt they patch that u got better chances of higher level maps dropping, i am lucky to get a higher level map once in 5 maps completed. " I just wanted to say, that my friends and I had a great (at least in my opinion) way to fix this EXACT problem, that is WAY too low of level maps dropping when doing high level maps. If I can only get maps 2 levels higher than the one I'm in to drop, why shouldn't maps ONLY two levels lower be able to drop? Actually... pretty sure we weren't the original creators of this idea, but yeah, it's definitely one of the smartest things I've heard from players. |

End-game Map Balance:
While playing End-game Maps, you are now more likely to find higher level Maps. This from patch 1.0.1 I have played since open beta and before patch map drops were good, after this patch they are horrible, low levels dropping and get a higher level maybe 1 in 5 maps done. Seriously higher level maps. Its not that way and no one can respond on the issue for almost a month now? Not asking for miracles just a little communication is all, hey we will look into it, thanxs for bringing it to our attention is all. And yes when map first came out it was 2 levels higher or lower, cant figure out why it changed. If a 66 can drop from a level 75 map, why cant a 75 drop from a lvl 66 crypt map?
