Farewell post~ Great game!
" Yea, if you play less than others, you have a lower probability to find good loot. That's kind of obvious since you kill less mobs overall. That's just the nature of arpgs in general. You don't need to constantly farm 78 maps for good drops though. In fact, it doesn't make much of a difference most of the time. The only thing it gives you is a very low chance to roll mods that are slightly better than mods on an item from a lower map. For uniques, it doesnt even matter at all. A lot of people get good items farming piety, who is only lvl 66. When i talked about "challenge" i was mostly referring to map mods. There's combinations of mods that can make maps really difficult, which keeps the game challenging for a long time. You even get rewarded for beating those difficult mods, as they also increase the quantity of items that drop. |

OP fails to understand that desync is such a hard thing to fix.
If you don't understand why it happens, you'll probably never understand why it hasn't been fixed. Anyway, goodluck to ya. FYI: I've never died to desync, and I play hardcore. I use a macro that automatically syncs me back to where I was if I feel something is off. It's not a huge downfall to the game in my eyes. I barely ever notice it. imma go ham imma go cray imma go hard , hard enough to make a baby.
i agree with this OP on every point. xp loss past 80 is megaretarded but the devs want you to grind months apparently to reach maxlvl which i dont give two fucks about personally. mapdrops suck and will continue to suck until more people speak up and the devs realise that lotto within lotto is a bad design. this applies to "crafting" too which is basically just onehandedslotmachine crutch in order to fabricate the illusion of choice what to do with "currency". 9/10 people hoard currency exchange em into exalts and BUY gear with that. this should be a warning sign and not "economy working as intended" also lol@ divine orb eternal and exalt droprate in general hundreds of hours played on one char thus far and ive looted 2 exalts but nothing else orb-related worth mentioning. but somehow the megarich think the rates are okay , and the idiots buying orbs from 3rd party sites making sure the economy continues to be worse and worse until most people A.Quit or B.start RMTing themselves when they´re addicted enough. this is my humble opinion. also yes , desync sucks a lot and hardcore babbies playing snailmode wont notice desync since they prolly never used leapslam faster attacks multistrike or cyclone whatever. so their opinion is inherently flawed to begin with , not a poke at hardcore players but those high horses you ride on into threads makes you look like silly keyboardwarriors. only good thing right now are alchemy orbs on white-items you might want to use this is what im doing , everything else feels and seems like a huge waste of timeinput. |

I really enjoy this game but I have to agree with your points OP. I hope GGG figures out a way to make desync less intrusive because as it is now it really is at an unacceptable level.
