It seems I won't be able to keep up my previous pace of post spam

Does anyone really remember Mrs.Scrotie coming on the forums to call her husband out of this place? Personally, I very well do.

Unfortunately, due to chronic unemployment, deadbeat nonpayment of virtually all bills, and quite possibly a strong gaming and forum addiction, in a little under an hour I lose the right to reside in my current abode.

More likely than not, at some point during the next 16 hours, the local constable will show up and order me and my remaining possessions (not many — thanks, Craigslist!) off of the property, and I will join the ranks of the homeless.

This doesn't mean I won't pop in from time to time, and who knows? I do have a job interview on Thursday, so this might be a rather temporary thing. And Rory, don't worry, I can check my emails from Ye Olde Public Library and keep up with the unique design.

Still, my posting frequency is about to go down. Way down. It's been a lot of fun, and I can honestly say that some of you have been among the few who have continued to care as the rest of my world — job, marriage, kids — was crumbling around me.

Remember, I won't be playing PoE itself in the near future, so you guys need to enjoy it for me.

OP, I don't have a lot right now, but if you have paypal I will send you some bucks to make sure you eat. PM me your paypal.

I have been poor before, I know what you are going through.

Stay strong.
Best wishes for the future, Scrotie.
I was always amazed at the effort you put into writing your posts.

I really hope you can find work or another legal way of acquiring enough money.
Good luck.

@ Mazul,
i really hope you leave this topic alone. Clearly your intentions are not pure and only aim to belittle scrotie. This in itself is foolish because everybody posting on this topic has respect for scrotie even with his "shortcomings"(i would call it "human" tbh, like i mentioned before, every single human is addicted, it is but the society one lives in that dictates if it is a bad addiction ore a good one)

Everyone seems to assume that his "quite possibly a strong gaming and forum addiction" is the underlying cause for his current situation, I am not sure, because like I wrote in a previous post he didn't sound so confident in that statement.

If he was ain accident that caused his job, marriage and kids to crumble around him, I would of course, feel sorry for him. However, in this case, it very much sounds like his own neglect made his own family suffer.

If it is his own neglect that caused his family to suffer; I recommend him to get help with whatever addiction he has (there are many anonymous groups that can be very helpful) and that he gets his act together. I would though send my condolences to his family since it must have been very hard for them to see someone they used to love fall like that. I would urge them to try to convince Scrotie to get help from a professional therapist for the good of their whole family.

I do wish that he gets the help he needs, mostly for the sake of his family.

Spending other people's money is so easy.

Plus you have no idea if he has or will. Not your or my business.

do what you can, if you can.
maybe others will too, or maybe they won't - but it's none of your business.

don't forum-post.
PM him and ask if you can help, if you can.

Sad indeed.

All the best of luck, opportunity and well wishes thrown your way Scrotie.

It's all I've got to give, but I give it freely and sincerely.
I've been an "addict" my entire life pretty much. I know how it is. Games are... one manifestation of it for me. Me giving advice is the last thing I would call sane, though. So I won't. But good luck.

I do have to admit, POE is addicting. I'm currently in dental school, and even when I have an exam coming up, I constantly check forum posts/messages and stuff when I shouldn't be.
