Shit just got real.
I honestly haven't even really liked most of your posts, but that's not a situation I would wish on anyone. I wish you well in your return to form.

Shit like this do not usually appear out of thin air. He doesn't seem to be illiterate either, so it is not like he didn't have the possibility to educate himself in order to get a decent job.

My guess is: addiction of some form. Drug or drinking perhaps.

Are you refering to "quite possibly a strong gaming and forum addiction"? It didn't sound so confident, but perhaps he didn't want to admit the problem with a such addiction was far larger than it really was?

Hope you get back on your feet soon. I'm sure there's plenty of other people in this forum who are struggling with gaming addiction as well.

Even though I disagree with you most of the time I feel like a person of your intelligence should be working somewhere that takes advantage of it. I hope you find a way to kick your addiction and find a job somewhere to keep ya busy and get ya some $$.

Good Luck.

I don't think that we need to discuss him in the first place.

Given his intelligence I deem it very unlikely
that this errors of his will occur a second time anyway.

You go into the shitter and get out of it, you don't want to go back.
The occurrence of this situation might be a key motivator for a glorious future of him.

Have you tried contacting GGG for a spot on there team? Imo everybody is addicted, it's called work and it will eventually alture your mindset.

Why not keep your addiction but make some $$$ in the process, you would be no different then any other person enjoying his work.

And if GGG does not want you, you could create an independent site discussing balance changes/structure changes etc. And make a donation possible on that site.

the only thing that would change is that you would have to stop making elaborate post's on the PoE website, but just post url's to your own web-site for people interested. I'm pretty sure if it was well maintained and has your flavor of in-depth explanations it could provide you with a stable income, depending on the future success of PoE. You could also create a stream actually giving your in-depth explanations a more human feel to it. If you think kripp explains thinks well, i'm sure u could top that.

With the best of karma your way scrotie,

@ Mazul,
i really hope you leave this topic alone. Clearly your intentions are not pure and only aim to belittle scrotie. This in itself is foolish because everybody posting on this topic has respect for scrotie even with his "shortcomings"(i would call it "human" tbh, like i mentioned before, every single human is addicted, it is but the society one lives in that dictates if it is a bad addiction ore a good one)

@Scrotie, if this isn't some kind of sick joke post - don't give up man!
as lame as this may sound, there is always darkness before the sun comes out.

forget about games.
get your life back together. do whatever it takes.

after that, you can occasionally PoE if you still have time.
I really hope to see you in game sometime, but only as an indication that all worked out well, and you are back - better than ever :)

I have a friend who has to uninstall games or pack up his computer just to avoid the temptation of using it constantly. Most unfortunate. That said, I sent you a PM.
