that 25% hp is actually 200-300 hp reduction at 4k hp.
that amulet is actually amazing,tons of people are scared by that 25% but it actually reduces your hp by 70-80/1k. and it's stats are really good.
and yes i think carnage heart is kinda of a must because you don't need a life leech gem anymore.
the bad part is that people just realised how good it is and now it goes for 15-20 chaos.when i got mine,i payed 3 chaos for it.

@nbriles,i don't think people are really sure how corrupting blood works but what i can tell you is that as soon as i got armour,the dmg i took was lower.
also when i fight one,if i use armour flasks the dmg i take is also lower.
i'm 99% sure that armour affects somehow the dmg you take from c.b.

How does that work? 25% of 4000 is 1000...

It's 25% reduced life, not 25% less life, so it basically removes 25% of your life% bonus from the passive tree. It's not removing 25% of your max life after modifiers, it's changing the modifiers to be 25% lower.

For example if you have 250% increased life without Carnage Heart you would have 225% increased life with Carnage Heart.

So 200-300 HP reduced @ 4K HP sounds about right for that unique.

yea,most people still don't understand how it works and that's why you can sometimes buy it really cheap but slowly they realize it's a really good amulet.

So is there a general consensus on IR vs evasion/acrobatics? Or doesn't it matter, just go for personal preference?

no ideea,never played acrobatics.you can ask in general chat tho.

I'm like 90% sure I'm going to go acrobatics so I'll let everyone know how it goes when I get higher up. i'm only level 37 or something right now in Nemesis.

One of you SC players out there should respec and try it out and report your findings. Its only a few points difference.

Why u get deflection if there isn't a shield equipped in the build?

How does this compare to other spectral throw builds in damage when it comes to maps? I've been thinking of running a crit ST build for awhile because I think crit is going to be the highest scaling damage late-game. Would like to know if that's actually the case!

Also I don't think using a Mana Leech gem is necessary. 2% should be more than enough to hit the mana leech cap, max mana will be limiting how much you can leech, not a lack of mana leech.
