An outdated, dead game - a review

SOOOO Bored with dock and piety runs now.
OP is right.
Game over.
I cant understand why people always cry about the lack of endgame content in ARPGs, especially all ARPGs after D2. There was also no real endgame concent in D2. I think that just the generel requirements of the players community increased a lot since D2 was released in 2000 (!). Its still all about creating individual builds and optimize your character. POE offers a lot content round about that idea.

Even games like WOW cant bind you forever and ever. Sometime every game gets boring.

Im one of the "good old D2"-players too and i think its still the best ARPG in the world but maybe thats just because i was a lot younger when i played it and things were new and exciting at this time. Nowadays the players already have seen everything and you cannot satisfy them so easy.

So have a good time with the game so long as it works for you.

Very true.

2000! Christ...
The answer is they cry not because there's no end game, but because creators artificially stop you from hitting it. Which actually made tons of high lvl chars just leave in boredom and frustration.
There wasn't late game in D2, or not even close to PoE's one, but there were no restrictions and sadistic punishment. You did whatever you wanted there. Even a casual like me could afford a 96 char, godly equipped.

These threads makes my face smile.

Two headed people every where i look.

Guys. Chillax. Some of the posts against the OP is worse then the actual troll topic.
When a banker jumps out of a window, jump after him, that's where the money is.
I think D2 had more going for it. It had a crafting system that provided more certainty so time felt less wasted. It had a stable currency base and set barter system until the hacks and cheats came along. It also had a fun pvp system that this game really...really lacks.

I can answer that for me personally. The end-game content in D2 was accessible to me. I farmed for crap. I got stuff that was interesting and useful. I hoarded such stuff for when I died and needed to replace my current character (hardcore player). The end-game in D2 was a meta-game for me... building and sustaining a MF guy along with whatever interesting build opportunities came my way.

None of that is available in POE. In POE, the end-game content (which I would perceive as 6-link stuff and the associated gems allowing me to fully explore the build options) is just plain inaccessible. For me, POE is a 1-40 game and that just wasn't enough to keep me playing.
I don't trade. I don't group. My comments reflect that.
Some of the responses on here are fucking dreadful, community is full of elitist fanboys. You need to fully love 100% of the game or you're a troll :/ The game is lacking something and stuff needs a lot of polish, let people voice there opinions without being dickheads. Though I really doubt that will ever happen.

A lot of us have criticisms about the game. In fact, most do. It'show you convey your criticism that counts though.

In short, if you act like a child, expect to be treated as one.
