An outdated, dead game - a review

Hey people I just thought I write a review after playing the game for 4 months on and off casually. Frustrated that I couldn't get anywhere, I deleted my characters and quit. Here's my review


The population significantly declined after it was released back in march. Anybody who was going to play it already tried it back then and is not coming comeback. There is no beta in a released online game, that's just an excuse the developers use to shield themselves from criticism.

The game is simply isn't fun enough for the casual crowd. Repetitive skills and endless boring grind. Once you getting deeper you realize it's all about gambling and broken/overpowered uniques.

I am glad to see it die, the community I experienced is horrific to say the least. But of course it's obviously designed for the underground 'hardcore' sect who like to spend 100 hours a day replaying a single location. Not for the average sane person with responsibilities.

I've created a character build, I just don't see why I should keep doing repetitive tasks to achieve it. One time playing the story mode is enough to try out all builds on that class. I mean how long do you expect someone to replay the same damn thing to get the most out of the game? Just to leave a poor taste in the mouth and a bad recommendation.

The 'crafting' is a slot machine simulator. The trading is a huge unnecessary hassle, it's the exact opposite of playing. Instead of obtaining items as you progress, you have to chase other people in forums and then haggle and get scammed. All because the developers seemingly wanted to stretch a few hour gameplay to the moon. But I've come to a conclusion, it's just a bad game folks. The recommendation I got to try it was probably biased. To be fair I think the only unique game play mechanic is the gem system. Everything else is haunt from the 90s/80s artificial difficulty games.
