I know you're only joking (Probably..), but those first few posts DO seem like they're trying really hard to sell the clan, which makes me suspicious.

Everyone who joins this clan beware.
This is most likely a very big scam attempt.
I am alerting GGG staff about this after writing this message.

If it isnt a huge scam attempt, it's still the biggest liars and retards I think I've ever met online. That goes for the "leadership" of course - not the guys they've fooled (just like me) to jump on their TS server.

How do I know this?
I'll say up front as a responsible adult that my evidence is incredibly convincing - but as any crime that has yet to happen, when caught in the act of "preparation" - its very hard to prove absolute guilt. But here is my evidence:

TLDR (short version) :: The leadership of this clan started spamming us on Teamspeak with coupon codes to buy RMT items. I wont link to the site, its against forum rules. When asked why they did this, they claimed they owned the RMT site. The RMT site in question is owned by lewt, inc. which is a well known multi-$m RMT sales business that based itself off Diablo 2, now Diablo 3 and now PoE (sadly). The owners of lewt, inc. are Aaron Cicchelli and Jesse Powell.
http://jesse.forthewin.com
https://www.facebook.com/aaron.cicchelli

The leaders of clanBNR are Chris Sias and Jesse Hunter. Not the same people. Unless those are aliases.
http://clanbnr.net/team.html (looks like 16-18 year olds to me...)

When confronted about why they are pushing coupon codes for RMT sales onto their clan members with an automated spam script in our chat channels everyday - they go silent. Instead of discussing the issue or even a reply - silence. No answers.
Have now have heard from a few of ClanBNR members that they are using those coupon codes and buying RMT currency. Which I think is retarded. Hopefully they get caught.

Not liking this at all, I did a bit of investigating.
Turns out - Lewt,Inc. is offering a $1m "bounty" to anyone who can provide them with massive "supply" in PoE and D3. Thats $1m to supply them with hundreds if not thousands of stolen/hacked accounts. Since that is obviously the only way to get such a large amount of currency.

Clan BNR appears to be an attempt by some lunatic kids at stealing massive amounts of accounts from members. They plan to do this by recruiting aggressively, logging member details on both teamspeak and their forums, and then attempting to access their accounts via same emails / account names used to register on their forums/TS as they use in the games - which many players probably do without thinking twice. This is all a pretty darn good idea when you think about it. Whats the best way to find out allot about a player? Being in the same guild! Hopefully nobody gets suckered into this.

When I tried to talk to some of them on Teamspeak about what their involvement with Lewt,Inc. etc was, I got no answer - and today earlier the lunatic leader randomly logged in and banned me from the TS server rather than answer any questions.

Refusing to answer accusations? Lying out their teeth? Banning people who ask questions?
There is nothing more fishy than whats going on with this clan.

Not only this - which is bad enough - but read more if you really havent had enough of a laugh. Because this is just the icing on the cake. There's an entire cake of bull---- going on in this clan.

*WARNING* Do not join this clan - do not sign up on their forums - unless you want your account stolen. If you already have - change your email/password now.

Long version

I joined this clan a few weeks ago because Potliver who is now the admin, was an in-game friend for awhile and asked me to join.
Then the "leadership" came in to talk to us. Let me tell you first off this "leadership" in a guy named Chris Sias - is a total egoistic nutcase megalomaniac. And the biggest liar I have ever heard - which is a big statement because I build tech companies and deal with liars all the time.

I immediately knew the leadership was fishy - everything they told us was obviously total bulls***, and I also knew personally that many of his claims were outright lies because I have actually been in the gaming & tech industry for nearly 20 years. A few of his other claims I went ahead and checked on. Nothing they say checks out. None of it. All lies.
[quote"Potliver"]
Here is a little bit about us.

1. The guild is 19 years old, in May of 2013; was created in 1994.
2. We have always remained a private clan.
3. BNR has over 70,000 members over more than 19 gaming clients.
4. BNR is the oldest and largest single guild to date.
5. BNR is supported by Blizzard, Logitech, Activision, PlayStation Network, Xbox LIVE,Machinima, and Visionary Custom Controllers
6. BNR is the winner of 2005 – 2012 web awards
7. BnR is in the gaming hall of fame.
8. Clan BNR motto: To improve the gaming experience for our members by any means possible.
[/quote]
Unfortunately, this is all a lie.
Sounds good - but every single one of those is a complete lie.

19 years old clan? For online gaming yet you didnt have a website, forum, or any trace at all of your existence until March 2012???

Really? Where? Even your own website says you play only 3 games on PC and 3 on console. Yet until the last few months had NO members - anywhere.
BTW - website made by retarded 5 year old monkey or what?
Free hosted site with ad-popups too?
Biggest clan in the world cant even make a site?
Dont think so...

Complete lie. You know why netizens say "screenshot or it didnt happen"?? Because people like ClanBNR go around making up fantasies and thinking they can hide behind a PC screen without living up to their lies and nonsense.

Another lie - I know executives at Logitech and Activision. Personally. PR Department never heard of you. Couldnt check the other companies myself, except for those who keep public sponsorship lists - and youre not on any of them I bothered to look at.
Whats hilarious is that its not even hard to get sponsorships from many of these companies. I was sponsored by Razor in Europe as a pro-gamer for 2 years (and I'm nothing even close to the top). My guild, one of Europe's largest, multiple-time winners at Dreamhack (www.dreamhack.se) are sponsored by at least 10 companies. I've run big and small LAN-parties for years and always get at least 5 sponsorships with free schwag, mice, keyboards, games. NO PROBLEM!
Oh yea - and Dreamhack itself which I helped as a volunteer organizer in 2008 and 2009 is sponsored by literally every major gaming company out there.
All you'd have to do is go here: http://news.logitech.com/media_contacts and actually not lie to them, give them something valuable. But no you cant do that either.
How about I send these claims of yours to these companies and have them all sue you for claiming they are your sponsors? That is illegal btw in the US which is where you are based.
Machinima is in fact the only "affiliate" you have, legally, which is free for anyone:
http://www.machinima.com/affiliates
Still NOT a sponsor.

What, this WebAwards?

http://clanbnr.com you couldnt even use, like guildportal.com?

Cant really say you've improved my gaming experience.
You've suckered Potliver, and at least 2 previous "PoE Admins" before him into being your grunt doing your work for you to carry out your scam.
Of course, the last 2 admins you "hired" (without paying them of course) you even brag to us in Teamspeak about suing in the state of Ohio for calling you out on all your bullsh*** just the same as I am (please - sue me).
Not sure if it was this guy, or another.

So after all these lies and bullsh** I just had to ask myself:
Why the hell would they be lying about this stuff? What is the purpose?
I couldnt understand it.

But I didnt really care at first.
I joined teamspeak to chat with potliver and 3-4 others I knew, met some other fun players, all in all I think I only was on there 4 or 5 days.
Which was definitely enough for me with lunatic teenager boys barging in talking like they are mafia.

The sad thing is there are indeed a good group of players on the teamspeak. At least 5 or so most of the time, and everyone is pretty cool.
Whats sad is they are all getting sheep'ed into this lunatics scam, which hopefully isn't true but so far I just find nothing but hard evidence to support it.

So - there you have it.
"The Real ClanBNR"

Very bold, mythal. Very bold indeed.

It struck me as odd when the full clan name wasn't advertised in the initial post. Every clan/guild I've been in is quite proud of their name and always spell it out...at least once.

The 19 year old clan's name (Battle net Revolution) references battle.net, which was launched in 1996. 17 years ago.

Regardless of whether any of your statements are true or not, everyone should always be wary of using ANY login/password combination on ANY site related to a game they play. It's a nice long con. I know from experience from D2 and other FTP MMOs where I've done similarly heinous things.
