Because its not even like a crit shadow with an 8k es + pool and vaal pact. Reflect will wreck you, and your defenses will suck. Again, that armor is useless is complete BS derived from people who do NOT INVEST in it. Armor combines with block / spell block / regen / leech / enfeeble / charges to make for an insane buffer to dmg. Defenses are NOT broken in this game. There is a good balance between defense and incoming dmg. The majority of ppl crying on this forum are used to diablo2, diablo 3, or using iddqd in doom. There HAS to be a challenge to the enemies you face. Meanwhile, the good players are out there making it happen and not whining ''lightning thorns sucks, reflect sucks, tentacle miscreations are bs, rhoas are bs, voidbearers are op, pls nerf kole for the 100th time'', or LOL the best one 'f**k desync!' - as if desync has anything to actually do with game mechanics! Just dont play if you desync and come back after beta! Again, case in point: Dragons build. (Can solo anything, any map, any mod. With very good solo dps that will 1 to 2 shot most everything.) Even tanking a lightning mod vaal, as stated, and left with an amazing 1100hp! Now please keep in mind that is vaal lol, and everything else pales in comparison. And he is obviously investing in life nodes, you cant not really ... You see a problem with using endurance, granites, enfeeble? every half decent melee would. I will post them when I am in end game maybe, I am currently level 44. HOWEVER end numbers are not necessary if you would use your brain and look at my passive, then think of some gear that work well with those passives (can't be that hard).
The build is not in my OP, find the latest build 1 or 2 pages back right before you started trolling and burying my request for feedback. Yes he is only investing in life nodes duh, life is defensive for your information. All out life is the default melee + RT build I am talking about the whole time. Your build is eerily similar to mine (I'm DW Cleave instead, though):
Current Passive Tree at Lvl83: Hell, I'm soloing my 73 maps just fine so far, and I wouldn't exactly call my gear super epic:

I only have 70% HP from my passive tree atm lol, as I got a little bit too excited on all the DPS nodes with that free respec. Two things that I strongly recommend: 1) Those -15% (-30% total) crit nodes from Marauder; they help so much it's not even funny. 2) Endurance Charges; I honestly don't believe this build would ever succeed without them. Nice, thanks for sharing.
Indeed your build is very similar to what I want to achieve, also many of your skills I prefer. Actually I was really having doubts whether to go for the nodes in the ranger area or to pick Marauder nodes since they are probably the best defensive ones in the whole tree. I finally choose not do go into the Marauder tree because they are so far away and mainly took life, evasion, shield and crit nodes in the Ranger area instead.
