They would rather take care of the source of rmt(ingame bots, spam bots, game mechanics encouraging rmt). That's always going to be the better method of dealing with it.

Investigating many specific cases is a huge time sink for minimal results.

It also can take time from game development depending who is doing it. Far more players care about ingame content than rmt.

You will NEVER get rid of all the RMT sites. In my opinion the best tactic is to discourage players from using them.

Also imo there are other problems that should be invistigated because its absolutely impossible to stop peoples using jsp and other third part sites.
Farms of bots are much bigger issue now.

Chris, you shouldn't hesitate to allocate more resources in this investigation. It appears to be very important to a lot of us here. Why should we continue to play legit IF someone is able to achieve greatness by cheating and not being caught or punished?

Take a hard stance right here and now. If there was cheating involved, find it and crush it. Show us you mean what you say.

I happen to disagree. There are a lot of other issues that I would rather they focus their resources on.

Such as....

Such as farms of bots or scammers ingame.
These are problems that touch "normal" players.

No. Real issue is getting aussies Australian server updated and fixed and permanently in place.

The rest of the 'end-game' content will be available along with a heap of new stuff when the game launches in a few months time. From what I've seen it's going to be awesome. - Michael_GGG
I personally don't give a rat's ass what other players do, or the accomplishments they pretend to have. I have a greater worth in my own accomplishments, and don't need other people to gauge them against.

I do know a cheat when I see one though, and that seems to be a pretty easy target in this game.

Unfortunately, that will be as effective as police efforts to stop the drug trade by targeting buyers.

it gets little windy sometimes.
Nope.. don't care how HvR got there. Congrats to him. All others whining about how he got there before them need to suck it up. Never seen so many 25+ grown men crying about a video game.

Chris came on here and said there is no suspicion in regards to this player. What more do you guys want? Tour of the office? Screen caps of said investigation? Server logs? LOL. Some hurt ego's in this thread.

And if drug laws weren't enforced? All laws for that matter.
