Chris says there has been a lot of progress on the RMT front
I would like to learn more! very pleased. please post more updates and progress reports regarding pretty much anything you guys are working on GGG, I like the manifesto and want to see more! |

End of the day Dragon585, we have to take Chris at his word... it's all we got and he's been straight with us the entire time I've been around (as far as I know).
I agree with your p.o.v., but unless any evidence comes to light... I agree with Peachi, that GGG's resources are better used for improving PoE and continuing with their goals (i'm paraphrasing a little, forgive me). The only ppl who can shed light on this outside of GGG are those with "evidence" (if any exists). I agree, there is a lot of good to take away from Chris' exceptionally well written statement regarding all this.

the decision to allow the top player on your ladder to be treated with less respect and rights than a scammer or an orb seller and allowing your moderators along with members of the community who insinuate they are connected with you to take part in such things is a complete disgrace, Im sorry but that's just beyond a joke. This thread should have been locked from the word go, the very act of not doing so is sending a message, a message which you are too scared to just come out and say but is amde obvious by your lack of actions, a despicable thing to see from a dev team I actually had real respect for.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

" You're missing the point. While police do sometimes arrest people for drug use, they only do so because they have to. They learnt along time ago that they need to target the suppliers, not the buyers. There will ALWAYS be buyers , and for every one that is caught, there will be another to replace them in no time. There are nowhere near as many people with the resources to sell drugs. And the analogy works here as well. People will always want to get ahead and will happily pay a few dollars to do so. It is impossible to remove the demand. The solution then is to remove the supply. |

" That's actually false. Companies don't run on a democracy. People have opinions about scammers too and have actual evidence quite often. Those get locked swiftly. I honestly don't know why Chris is keeping this topic unlocked, there isn't much of a good discussion going on. His response answers everything people need to know.
