I came here from Diablo 3!!! [Please post here if you did as well!]

I play Diablo I , II and now i want this game it's look fantastic.
Another long time Diablo II player here;

I had gotten to the stage where I couldn't go ten minutes without quitting Diablo III because of how dull it became.
The game is essentially pay to win, with the RMAH, and that's made even worse by the fact we already payed for the game.

When someone first mentioned this game, I was quite stubborn and shrugged it off, but now I've started looking into it more, and I am really interested. I was really also surprised to see it's a game by New Zealand, I never suspected I'd be playing a game like this that has been made in my own country.
PoE is really giving me the old Diablo vibe that Diablo 3 is lacking, and I really look forwards to being able to play this great looking game.

Welcome to Wraeclast! Here's your bucket! I mean, helmet!
I too have moved here from D3 (funnily enough I found out about this from the D3 forums). I played from day 1, hit the wall of Act 2 a couple weeks later, and am now dividing my time between checking the AH and slogging my way through Act 2. I dunno, the game itself is enjoyable enough, God knows I've sunk more time in it than I care to admit (even my girlfriend, who is a gamer herself, said it would be nice to see me for an hour every so often). It has its problems, which I won't get into, but that's not the main turnoff for me. D3 just seems to be lacking that je ne se qua that the previous titles had. PoE, at least aesthetically speaking, seems to have that certain something-something that makes my heart flutter. Hope I get a beta key to confirm.

I enjoyed D3. Cannot say I did not. It was not the perfect game i hoped for. But after so many hours, ı don't feel like doing anything.

Then the last patches arrived. I felt like they were punishing grinding. "You must do this to have fun, the things you were doing are not fun. Why are you doing that? We must prevent this. You shall play the way we want!"

Then I remembered this game. Opened the site and saw the GGG logo. Watched a friend play for a while. I hope this game becomes everything it could be. I would have supported it if i had a credit card and would not blink an eye. Not for the bonus but you know...I want this game to be good.
Hi all,
yet another Diablo3 refugee here :-)
This game looks interesting - will be interesting to see how it develops.
Yup. Finally couldn't take D3 anymore. Used the money from selling my gear in the RMAH to buy into the beta. I feel somewhat justified knowing I got my money back for D3 and i was able to purchase a replacement game as well.

Played up to level 12 last night and I already like it better than D3.

Amazing that that's possible.
I have joined the revolution.

AAA gaming is in decline, time to support the indie games that need the help to become even more successful.

Very excited to participate in this game, and more so to play it.

Me too.

I need some serious "hack 'n slash" action-- without all of the B.S. that is currently known as Diablo 3.
Diablo III was a big disappointment in that Blizz worked hard to make it a WoW mini clone and the always online feature gives Blizz too much control.

Will be interesting to see how PoE and Grim Dawn compare to each other.
