I came here from Diablo 3!!! [Please post here if you did as well!]

Hey guys this game looks amazing!! like the diablo 3 I had in mind!

Thanks to blizzard and WoW influences the diablo franchise has been tarnished by a game that looks nothing like the first two.. and certainly doesnt play like the first two either.. the loot is terrible! And replayability is horrid... I get bored just thinking about it.

I will be supporting the cause once I can install bootcamp onto my mac (accidentally formatted my external hd so now I have to recover all my music and movies!! yikes!)

EDIT: couldn't resist so I donated early!! haha maybe they'll get the game done sooner now! although I must admit the beta looks a hell of a lot more finished than d3

PoE > Grim Dawn > Torchlight 2 > Lego Harry Potter > Diablo 3.

After Reaching Inferno and hitting that Act 2 Brick wall with my DH I tried very hard not to give up on D3 but after putting in over 200 hours and never once getting a good drop and always having to buy off the GAH for gear...

I came here to see what all the hype about PoE was all about. Couldn't be happier. I'm already at the end of Act 1 trying to kill the boss merveil (a surprising challenge) and its by far more entertaining than trying to get 5 stack NV against such terrible elite affixes.

PoE = Salvation from the money hungry soul suckers over at ActiBlizz.

In my opinion I find this game more interesting than Diablo III and Torchlight. (Together)


So applause from me and everyone for making a beautiful and dark game...

I'll give diablo III a yr to fix itself then give it a try until then im here, just pissed i cant afford the 10.00 key atm.

I have to say, the gearing and currency system is vastly more interesting than D3. I liked D3, but the game mechanics in Inferno seem very, very broken to me and need a complete overhaul (stack resists and dps only? how bland)

I've only been testing PoE for a day or so, but really like what I see so far. It continually grows on me, and I enjoy how challenging the boss fights are.

Long-time D2 vet checking in (SC until I discovered HC).

Not necessarily coming here because of D3, but I certainly gave that game a go...right up until I found a lvl 59 legendary weapon that was beyond horrible and it dawned on me that there was no point in playing anymore other than to grind a single Act for miniscule increases to stats on uninteresting items.

I checked out PoE quite awhile ago but was initially turned off by how zoomed-in the camera was (and it wasn't finished yet so I figured I'd just give it some time). Played again recently and the progress is just fantastic! I've been taking the time to have a look at PoE's depth of customization and it's really evident that this is a title by ARPG fans, for ARPG fans - and I'm so pleased.

I'll definitely be promoting PoE to the gaming communities and forums I frequent - hope you all do the same!

hahaha, luckily for me, I got a refund for D3.

I will say, normal and especially nightmare was a blast. Then came along hell, and I started thinking about the loot system and the auction house and rabble rabble rabble.

Sadly I did too. Which is a little funny since everyone seems to think that everyone who jumps ship from D3 could not do inferno. I cleared up to Izual in 2 weeks and have been farming act 3 and making money off of the RMAH and yet here I am. I would rather play an amazing game and make no money off it than to play a sub par Diablo rip off and make easy money. Sad sad sad, but hey, it brought us to this amazing game so I will not complain! They should just call this The Real Diablo 3.
