Hey there, exiles!
Please be sure not to personally attack one another or make comments that are antagonistic in nature, as these are breaches of our Code of Conduct. It is fine for people to post that they are leaving the game and to discuss their reasons for doing so. If you are making such a post, please be mindful of our Code of Conduct and avoid being needlessly negative - that is, make sure that your tone is civil and constructive. We appreciate feedback, even feedback that is critical of the game, but this does need to be posted in a way that is not rude or insulting to the team. Thanks all for your understanding! | |

" If you're loving the league, why are you posting on a thread that has nothing to do with you? This community has turned so toxic, it's incredible. I remember POE being united and we all agreed and disagreed. All these changes have divided the community and is becoming League of Legends. It has nothing to do with strong players or adaptation. It's not respecting players time. They want to slow down the game? That's fine...but there needs to be a balance to these changes. Shorten the campaign, make endless delve as a way of leveling and each section you complete you get the quest rewards...something to compensate and freshen up the game. Nerfing defense, increasing mana costs, nerfing flasks while buffing mobs. If you enjoy the league, then make a thread about it. Don't come in and insult player's time as invaluable. Some of us have full time jobs and family...not everyone is no-lifing the game. |

It's worth bearing in mind that GGG doesn't care if long standing players leave, we've already spent our money. GGG makes money by getting streamers to bring in fresh meat that can be conned into buying stash tabs. This has been made clear in many posts over recent years.
This is why these changes are so backward. Streamers don't like it as it makes their "content" less interesting, giving them fewer viewers and thus fewer new recruits for PoE. Those that do make it are assaulted with brutal difficulty right from the start. If seasoned players are having to run around in circles or get themselves killed to recharge their mana just to beat Hillock in the Strand, How are new players going to find it? Can't see many sticking around to buy stash tabs, that's for sure. GGG may or may not care about player numbers, but this will hurt their wallet. They may be fine with that, but I doubt Tencent will. As for me, I'll check back in a while to see whether they revert or double down. I think I we all know which way that will go though. Last edited by Exhall#6933 on Jul 25, 2021, 11:17:40 AM

" It's evidentiary, that the same content before was manageable on a limited time budget, but the recent changes AND increased Rng/gambling mechanics now demands a higher time commitment. Your question is irrelevant to the genre, progression can be had on most time schedules, but commiting to one that yields less in the same game, now made more tedious by choice of developers, is the issue here. I struggled as is just going by earlier leagues and this league I'm sitting this one out. Not by ill will but due to increased busy work and tweaking that exceeds my time schedule (which is unchanged from previous three leagues) Last edited by absurdistan88#0852 on Jul 25, 2021, 11:17:54 AM

I'm not enjoying this expedition league. It's quite tedious in my opinion. POE has always been tedious to a degree but now it's just too much. I've played more or less since betrayer league but alas I think I won't be logging on as much for this one.

I haven't quit yet, but man does the gameplay feel bad now. Boring and slow and the game isn't hard or difficult as much as it is cheap.

Just want to thank people for making this the place to post their "goodbye". It would get really cumbersome if everyone felt they had to make their own posts.
