Streamer priority is as unethical as p2w. Discuss.

This is not really the way that works... most people get to play an early version for x amount of time but then be on the same playing field once the game comes out

Some streamers already get to see/know/play the league before we do as far as i know but now they also can get in before us

Theres people almost done with the game already and im lvl 2 and havnt been able to stay ingame for more then like 40 seconds (total like 10 seconds per d/c)
Yes, and when someone gets to see a movie before I do, they're "almost done with it" before I am too. So what? That doesn't change the movie for me, and streamers being further in POE doesn't change it for me either. I don't know about you, but there are always people further ahead in POE than me. That's okay.

I dont understand your argument.
So if you go to the movies you wouldnt mind waiting at the theater entrance waiting for someone more "socially relevant" to finish the movie before you are even allowed to enter?

I cant even grasp the logic you guys are conjuring to justify this move by ggg.
since I can't play the game, I will play the forum poster! 👀

I agree with the OP.
Its okay if like 10 biggest streamers get queue resistance, but when empyrian gets it for himself and full party of his friends, who are now getting leveled up in act 9... this is not okay at all.

Now we have 10 biggest streamers, 5 noname empyrian's friends and, perhaps, countless unkown friends, girlfriends, ect of streamers farming up in late acts. Well played, GGG, realy good decision.

No, that isn't what I said. Those people have seen the movie before it even got released to regular people. I'm not waiting for them. Them seeing it hasn't affected me at all.

Similarly, the number of big POE streamers is relatively tiny compared to the number of players, so GGG could stop this preferential treatment and you literally wouldn't even notice the effect on your queues. The cost to any of us for them to do this kind of promotion is essentially zero. (Plus, I'm not standing in a line at a cinema, I'm at home having a coffee in comfort. Oh no.)

If we want to pretend it's all about business and not ethics then GGG should drop the pretence about RMT.

It's so unfair "streamers" have this advantage over "normal" people. GGG didn't realize they will have huge advantage in the economy? So disappointing.
At this point, one has to question if they are trying to kill the game...

Another bad launch
Lots of nerfs
Harvest destroyed
Streamers still obviously getting privileges

Time to sit back. Watch them make some basic apology then do it all again in 3 months.

My point exactly. Its two completely different scenarios.
People have been waiting for the season launch and still are to some degree.

Streamers are not waiting, they were given privilege over other players. Regardless of how common of a practice that is its still unfair for the entire player base that isn't allowed to play.

Also I'm having tea, chamomile to smoothen up from this clusterfuck of a launch.

You're only thinking in terms of impact on the queue. But these people are getting an ECONOMIC ADVANTAGE in this new league. And guess what is the selling point of new league launch again?
