I'll tack on one thing though: another reason it's more unethical than p2w is that it's literally false advertising. By having streamers play without queues, you are advertising a game that doesn't have tons of multi-minute queues, when that isn't the game you actually have. |

And on the heels of all the .1% memes, and elite favoritism, and catering to streamers, they have the nerve to literally shove it in peoples face LIVE in Twitch chat via messages. Actually barely believable anyone at GGG thought this was a good idea. How far this company has fallen since 2012 when they were as player friendly and communicative as any developer I had ever encountered. So brutal, and really so sad. Going to go to the extremes on this one. But it's opened up a whole can of worms. There can be justified disbelief in anything that GGG says right now.
Potential for account flags for items, mystery boxes, currency, crafting outcomes. This is and will be for a while a massive mistake by them. The knock on effect of this is crazy. Such a shame. |

I think the worst is letting Empyrians entire party in. Its one thing to let a meme streamer like Quinn in, who isnt going to do much but cater to viewers and screw around, but you let in Empy and his entire band of Economy destroyers and the damage they can do to other players who compete vs them and even to the market itself before players even get a chance to play.
I dunno why they thought its a good idea to let his entire party in. |
