Mercs?

i think merc would be usefull when your playing and don't have many players to team with

Since it's an online ARPG I don't really see the not finding people to party with being problematic.

Especially since GGG has mention that the number of instances can scale to the number of players to keep areas populated enough.

Anyone else take a look at Diablo 3's "followers"? Looks like they've expanded on their Mercenarys...and what they've done looks really good. This just makes me want to have Mercs even more in GGG, fingers crossed they decide to have them.

You gotta be kidding or you don't know there won't be followers in multiplayer and Nightmare/Hell difficulties. Followers will be SP Normal only. Besides they look awful.

I like the style of the followers and i'm kinda disappointed that they won't be present in mp games...

No, I wasnt aware of that, i just watched the vid quickly...that actually really sucks. I'll have to go back and read up on them. I don't mind the look of them though, they're supposed to look a bit plain so they're distinguishable from other players...but i suppose that may not be the case considering they're only for single player.

I thought they looked good... wearing armor, have weapons... do you want them to have flaming eyes and gigantic lazer swords? Just a healper with an axe is all they are. :)

I want them to die a quick death (painful or painless), just as long as they stay dead.

Not including mercs in mp - good move by blizz
Honestly I was expecting something totally opposite.
