If you are experiencing latency issues or disconnects when you are attempting to play the best thing you can do is create a new thread in this forum and include a WinMTR report (details on how to do this can be found here: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/361292).
This will give us some relevant information about your connection and what could be causing the issues, and will help us find a resolution for you. |

This hop is showing signs of increased latency, which is also occurring on the subsequent hops; which will definitely cause many issues for you in-game when you try to play. I'd recommend contacting your ISP to have them go over these results, as well as test your internet connection, as there could be a fault occurring. |

I've had some of these mentioned issues but now i can't access any npc or waypoint... it takes much longer then usual to simply log in and when I get in town, all other players appear but freeze after a few seconds and I can't use anything although I can still walk around in the town and open my inventory, options and such menus. Been like that since a few hours now...Any leads ?

Im facing same problem.
Game is unplayable, in first 10-30 sec everything is ok, then game starts to spike from 40-600 ping then 40-2k and dc :S Happeneds all the time ever since patch came out. Didnt have any issues before the patch and after contacting ISP im assured they didnt change a thing in last year. Had no problems with latency before the patch :S ps. Even if it seems that latency is ok, cannot talk to NPCs or interact with stash :( Ive thought its only my problem or ISP changed something but it seems not to be the case. IGN: PojzonAbyss

Post a WinMTR trace as listed in the Consolidated Technical sticky post. That will help us get a better idea of your network conditions.
There are a lot of people who are posting that they've only had problems since 0.11.4.. and while that might be true, in most cases, there have also been other ISP issues to account for most of the problems. I'm not saying there could be problems with the servers as well, but I haven't had someone post a WinMTR that also didn't have serious other problems to take care of first. All ISP problems and other network problems need to be resolved before we can look at what might be happening closer to the PoE servers unfortunately (since there are quite a lot of people who don't have issues). |

I have the same problem. It started 1 or 2 weeks ago. " You should post your own thread. When you party with someone, you go to whichever gateway the instance creator is on. You also traced to the website or US gateway it seems (even though you should be on the EU gateway) and it's no wonder your latency is 200ms since that's exactly what the WinMTR trace shows. |
