Or maybe you just suck at itemization and/or character building.

Even if I did it does not change the facts as stated. See?
It does because your perception is skewed. You assume the other players have it as hard as you do and cite it as a fact. Newbie mistake.

If the problem is with you you have no right to blame the game for your shortcomings.

I am not talking about my perceptions at all. Actually, I wasn't referring to dying. I was referring to the fact that people choose SC on the starting screen for a reason. If that makes them newbie to you, GTFO and go play HC leagues. I'm not stopping you.

Or are you such a bad player that you can't do it yourself?

Maybe not all of them chose SC because they like sucking?

The 'make build that doesn't die and learn to play' argument in my opinion just derails the topic -if you are so f*cking keen on doing that, why not go play HC?

Oh, that's right! Because instead of go play which mode they want, people come bitching to SC players that SC players essentially do not want to play HC leagues on level 95+ either any more than before reaching those levels. This is where HC players believe they are entitled to have the whole game balanced around their chosen mode.

The reason I referred to rules changing after level 95+ is that essentially anyone wanting to get those last levels need to play the game as if they were playing HC mode. That's pretty much a fact. Don't go derailing topic with all the 'git gut' or 'get better defenses' arguments there. People don't want to play HC, that is why they didn't choose HC button on the starting screen.

dat (il)logic.

you strawman that if one tries to not die, it's hardcore (lolwut?).

then you blame hardcore for balance (hahahaha, WAT?).

you act as if softcore means 'supposed to die all the time!'

and lolwut @ calling defensive advice a derailment... amidst your derailment tirade of strawman and other fallacies.

...what facts?

you just used strawman and conclusion jumping fallacies. fallacies aren't facts.

You guys prove me above statement is fundamentally wrong or GTFO from my face.

Tell me how many underground seas you need to grind upon death at level 99. That's right, DP doesn't teach you anything but to avoid certain content. It punished you for going softcore and not playing as l33t wannabe HC players should.

IN fact, it punished you for having a potentially slow PC or bad connection.

my delve char is 96.

yesterday, i killed aul and kurgal and 2 red elder guardians and red elder.

i'm still gaining xp and rarely ever dying. and i played this league very casually.

you're just wrong.

re: your edit... and i'm on a 2011 potato pc and i play on the infamous dc gateway.

I am doing delve depth ~ 400 comfortably without dying. This is from the beginning of 98 to the middle of 99 btw, no deaths. I also did multiple shaper guardian runs once again without dying. So please tell me again how I absolutely need to grind easy content and how your perceptions suddenly apply to me without any changes.
