It's just a bunch of typical "QQ moar" nonsense from the expected tools. The OP is giving legitimate analysis of Path, and of video games in general. I realize it goes way over the majority's basic understanding past their EAT SLEEP SEX instincts, but I trust that GGG is taking everything into proper consideration. |

Thank you for the long and thoughtful post. I'm glad the game provided you with two weeks of fun, and I appreciate all the things you like about it. Losing a Hardcore character is a frustrating experience, people react all sorts of different ways to it.
We've made gear acquisition one of the more challenging aspects of POE for a reason. We want it to be exciting to equip an awesome new upgrade, either one you found yourself, one you crafted, or one that you earned through skillful barter. A traditional-style auction house runs completely counter to this goal, so we will never include that in POE. However, we *do* have concrete plans for a website-based aid for trading. Our planned trading tools should address a number of the frustrations you felt when trying to upgrade your gear, without completely spoiling the thrill of doing so. If you enjoyed the game the last two weeks, I suspect that you'll enjoy it again after you've taken a little breather. Check back often, and see if our future updates answer your concerns :) |

Great news!
I'm glad you guys are not doing an auction house and adding web based tools to find deals. Please just make sure you guys put some of it client-side as well >.<. It would be me easier, personally, if I could view the same information on the website within the client. This way I don't need to have both PoE and firefox open at the same time, tabbing back and forth from my fullscreen client to find tabs and perform conversations. I don't know how it will be done but I have high hopes :D |
