All this prelude and pretending to be 'serious'... yet 'waaaaah i got frustrated i cant one-click buy god gear on AH and faceroll everything on HC' ending?
I am disappoint. If THAT is the reason for you leaving then well, there's a game that does just that... multiple actually. While the mess that trade forums are atm could use some sorting out - and I don't want to have to use 3rd party sites to sift through it - it certainly does not need to be AH simulator, sorry I feel you're in the wrong place. |

GGG is working on an easier system for trading.
If that is your primary concern then come back later. If that is just a scapegoat - glad you enjoyed your two weeks. In other games - you get a cookie whether you win or lose. PoE not only takes your cookie and eats it in front of you, it slaps you upside the head a few times for bringing a cookie in the first place.

Juo, I regret your departure, as you sound far more intelligent than the posters callously responding to your thoughtful assessment of the game. I would much rather you stay and they left.
Could you perhaps try the default league where death is more of a learning experience than traumatic finality? I don't have any yen to experience the "excitement" of HC myself, but I feel all the things that you praise about PoE can be found in the default setting as well, without the stress of helplessness. You may pay an XP fee or be inconvenienced by running back to your loot, but you'll always be able to gear up better, tweak the passives, use different skill gems or tactics and eventually prevail. I'm not overly jazzed about how trading is done currently in PoE either, OP.
But, I feel it's MY shortcoming not being able to grasp it completely, not the game's. Pretty certain it's to do with my age. (old) Solution is to be patient. Farming and crafting will eventually bring the upgrades you require, or the upcoming changes to the trading system might. Although, the passive tree build you had going may have been too broken to remedy with gear anyway. Who knows. Hardcore isn't the proper difficulty for impatient people. I think you were in a hurry for whatever reason. Relax & pick away slowly. Don't sweat the minor stuff, dude. It's only a game after all. Even dying should make you smile! Also: An AH is a terrible, horrible, ridiculous idea. NO AH please :) |

Honestly I feel yea on the whole trade forum thing ... I use it quite often but it can be a headache of your lookimg for certain items .... I post a carnage heart up go check the page a minute later and its on page 2 lol ..
Anyways sorry you lost interest hope you can come back later and maybe that spark will come back . Ps... Dont judge the community as a whole from some of these asshats that wanna troll your post ... IGN = Judyiss
