what numbers should I aim for life/ES/mana? I already have the unique pieces, need to upgrade the jewelry still but so far working good with a wander pathfinder doing yellow maps with ease.

Since it's only 10% chance to generate a charge per hit, it's really unreliable.
Usually, you hit a mob pack only once (if you have a good carry), and so this changes have no effect on mapping at all.



I moved some stuff around to try it out.

GMP, Orb of Storms, Curse on hit, whatevercurse. Full charges on hitting a decent sized pack.


I only run 9 auras though since hatred doesn't effect my carry.

Well, when I reach (hopefully without ripping) lvl 100, I will take a small break and work after on the occultist. Although, it will surely look a bit different than the actual version. :D

You dont need curses with this build. It's supposed to only have auras. Of course you could fit in a curse on hit setup or a Blasphemy if you drop Hatred for example.
You could easily take the curse node in tree, if you really need +1 curse.

You should get at least 1000 unreserved life. Mana will be really low in the lower levels and get after lvl 80 higher every lvl. You will end up with around 5000 mana on lvl 100. Es should be in the start around 7k and could go up to 10k or even more.

Good to know, but I guess that youre carry is not as fast, if you can put a Orb of Storms every 10 sec in a big pack? Guess the generation would be kinda lackluster on bosses.

I saw that your occultist curse aura support character had a pretty similar build to the guardian, though it didn't take Mind over Matter. (I assume things like avatar of fire + elemental equilibrium and projectile weakness were customization points for a specific party.) I had some questions, as I'm interested in making one myself for HC.
- Is your occultist build fine as is for general HC, or would you recommend some changes (beyond the customization mentioned earlier) in a more finalized/generalized build?
- How would you handle (early) leveling as a support occultist? Assuming you want to solo level at least some of the time.
- Does the occultist support require a greater budget than the guardian?

Heyhey, soon I will make a build guide about the Occultist, although with a different aura and curse setup.
I played in the end with hexa curse + 4 auras, because we already had a guardian aura bot.
But, if youre the only support, then you should go for 7 auras and 4 curses (Wrath, Anger, Haste in Victarios - Purity of Ice, Fire, Cold in Prism Guardian - Discipline in Boots or something like that - 2x Blasphemy in Victarios - 2x Curse on Hit).

With these changes it's an insane solo bot for the party and probably even stronger than the guardian. Although, the differences are not that huge.

I would lvl with Poet's Pen any day. If you dont have the budget, lvling will take slower.. Probably with Fire Storm or something.

No, the Occultist 7 Auras + 4 Curse bot is slightly cheaper than the guardian. But the hexa curse bot (which i played in the end) is way more expensive (6l victarios etc.).

Please drop the occultist whenever you get the chance! I played your guardian support and it was incredible last season. I really appreciate your work.

Last season we had a dedicated aurabot and dedicated curser. This season I fill both rolls of aura and curse. So the 7 aura 4 curse occultist is perfect for what I want to accomplish. Even if its a brief rundown or a rough draft with a tree that'd be awesome. Keep up the good work.

Now to my question. My friend is playing this build. We are both new to support and he is new to the game. He has mana issues in the sense that he cannot use all of his auras and clarity because he doesn't have enough mana for Shield Charge then. I guess that your friend is kinda low lvl, so his mana pool is very low. In this case don't use Clarity till you get a bigger mana pool or an Enlighten lvl 2.

Harmony of Purpose was used to share charges between party members. So if someone is generating frenzy charges, everyone gets them. In addition, you shared your endurance charges with the party members.
It was not supposed to generate all kind of charges for your party yourself.

Although, now Bastion of Hope is a very solid alternative.

Victarios: 2x Blasphemy with Enfeeble + Temporal Chains - Anger - Wrath - Haste
Prism Guardian: Purity of Fire + Ice + Lightning
Somewhere else: Discipline
Gloves/Boots: Ball Lightning + Curse on Hit + Assassins Mark + Elemental Weakness (or Projectile Weakness)

Gear: Broken Crown - 1x Doedre's Daming - Prism Guardian - Vicatarios Influence - Sin Trek - otherwise just rare gear with chaos res, Energy Shield etc.

Hi I have been trying out this build and I have a problem:

I can only equip 9 auras, I don't have enough mana reservation for the 10th, the problem is I took all the mana reduction I could get and I don't know what am I missing...

I have the 34% reduction, the conqueror's efficiency and the right pieces of the set but I can't get the 10th aura, I am lvl 71.

Any ideas ? If you couold look up my character and tell me where I am wrong or what I am missing that would be awesome !
