Lair Map -> Boss needs balancing

So we have the man form and a strat mentioned ITT.

We have the wolf form and a strat mentioned ITT.

I'd like to offer up the man riding wolf form strat: WTF is going on here *runs away* Jesus fucking WTF is going on WTFUUUUU!!!!!!! *TPs out*
Casually casual.

Damage is a good spot for all boss. Real issue is some you can't just face tank some, especially with a life build, and need to dodge and play smart. Lair is easy really. Use trees to hide from his wolves or just bait his wolf spam and circle to other side of it. Dark Forest which is basically lair 2.0 same thing but use rocks to hide.

I wish all boss's where more mechanical like this and plaza and a few others. Lair is an example of a good boss fight. No nerf needed in fact buff others to be similar.

Reflects my perception of many of the players perfectly fine: They confuse skill with their passive tree, and interesting mechanics that are meant to make the gameplay more dynamic with poor design.

Lair huh....
Well get ready to really have your shit pushed back when you revisit him again in T15 Dark Forest.
Because Lair isn't shit compared to the Dark Forest version. Lair version you might be able able to facetank him but Darkforest unless you have some Primo GG Gear and fuck ton of ES your gonna have to play the mechanics. Fortunately the mechanics are not very hard he only has 2 basic phases (Wolf Barrage and Wolf Form) and can teleport but because of this it presents a challenge without feeling completely unfair.

That said Lair and Dark Forest are examples of GOOD boss fights and the reason why they are good boss fights is because they have mechanics you actually have to work around. In fact i wouldn't be against more bosses in maps having such mechanics personally. 95% of all the boss fights including ones in the highest tier maps are mostly a joke. Thats why when people run into boss's like Lair all of a sudden they feel like the boss is out of balance because it actually presents some mechanics to work around few of the other boss's have.

I find Darkforest boss easier to do than Lair's thanks to the pillars that spawn adds.
The countless times I mistook my MTX pet for prey... huehehehe

I agree. Found Lair easy even with a non-tanky character. Dark Forest though WTF, found first DF map, thought it would be a walkover like Lair, got absolulty destroyed. Not sure what I was doing wrong, was avoiding wolf form and then attacking non-wolf form, but fk me, could barely scratch him. Is he immune to poison or something???
what's the DoT of this boss when he becomes wolf and bites your ass?.. it behaves kind of like bleed, but it's not. I have anti-bleeding flasks, and I can't stop the DoT.

the only way to fight this boss is by dying. or hoping that I can portal back to hideout. it's completely stupid. DoT is stupid anyway, and they want to make it even worse.

Do you have evidence that anti-bleed does not work vs Lair boss?

There have been some reports about anti bleed flasks in rare occasions (in general, not specifically vs this boss) not working correctly - not sure if this is true or not.
No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!
I agree. I did this map with one other person. We ran it rare corrupted, the mods were lousy, but the main problem was basically the guy causes such heavy bleeding that you die quickly. We literally used up all of our portals fighting him.
Run away from him when he's in wolf form.

If you have a movement skill that allows you to jump oer obstacles, you should be able to go over the river to avoid him.
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.
He needs a nerf.

But anyway what is reason to run Lair? It's one of worst maps layout-wise.
