[3.4] Fire Nova Mine - Perfect League Starter - Low Budget - FAST - HC Viable

So I've followed the leveling tree up until 70 skill points. Now, what nodes should I build to as I am quite lost as there is no skilltree for me to follow anymore.

Hey. Loving this build so far. Using it as my league starter. I just wanted to mention one thing for anyone following this build and maybe for you to update your guide.

Your pathing to Explosive Impact (near witch/templar area) should go around the right, not the left. The "cast speed with fire skills" does nothing for us because mine laying is not affected by cast speed, and although "Detonate" is, it isn't a fire skill. So it's more efficient to go to the right and get 4% extra fire damage.

I'm also curious about your play style with this build. Do you keep laying until you hit your max mines? Or do you lay, detonate, lay, detonate, etc?

Fire Nova Mine scales with Cast speed mate. From the wiki:

"Casting Speed - Fire Nova Mine is one of the only mines that is heavily influenced by player casting speed. As with all traps/mines/totems, Fire Nova Mine uses the casting speed and other stats of the player that placed the mine when it casts its skill. This means that the higher the casting speed modifier that the player has, the shorter the amount of time it takes for Fire Nova Mine to repeat its casts. This makes the support gem Faster Casting Support inventory icon.pngFaster Casting Support a very useful support gem as it causes Fire Nova Mine to hit targets within its specified range with the repeated Nova casts faster, and lowers the potential for enemies to escape the area between Nova casts."

White/blue packs: 1 cluster of mines (3miens) -> run further -> detonate
Yellows: 2 cluster of mines (6 mines) -> run further -> detonate
bosses : decoy totem -> spam to max amount of mines -> detonate while already spamming new mines

On the first page, there are endgame trees as well. Go for the 0 uniques needed tree if you don't have a covenant yet, go for the covenant (but no crit) version if you already got your covenant.

i didn't get it (my enlgish is poor, sorry), we can just go tree "Build we respec to as soon as we have our Covenant Chest" from start, or need to go "Starter Build/0 Uniques Needed" with ignoring mana nodes, EB and zealot's oath?

And can u fix please ur first post (like tree, description and etc), because some staff there a bit confusing ppl (and not much will check 26 pages of discussion to get answers).

And realy thank you, for ur great work, sir. Realy nice build

I added a third tree, which is for the case that you have your covenant. Check it out. It's basically the 0 uniques needed tree but without EB and ZO as you said.

I'm liking this build on legacy so far. With breech stones its not to difficult to get a few chaos early on to get the covenant and doedre's ring. I have those and will also see how well doedre's scorn works with this. Could I get some suggestions for min/max on end game gear please?

Your biggest upgrades would be the helmet enchantment "repeat 2 additional times" and a 6l covenant. That's what I would focus on. Weapon wise I am not 100% sure yet. Also a lvl 21 FNM-Gem and crit /critmulti on rare gear pieces.

Why not stick to scepters and use a "Doryani's Catalyst" and "Rathpit Shield" instead, you get way more damage and almost same crit chance bonus. According to "Path of Building" you would get almost 3k more damage that way. Using your crit build as base, with "Doryani", "Rathpit", "Xoph's Blood" and 4 decent jewels, you can reach around 7.5k average damage.

Ok so I can't blame you. A while ago I also thought Doryani's should be awesome but let me show you this.

You can see that not even a good rare weapon is already better than the doryani's. Why? Because single best thing to boost damage for us is to get flat ele damage to spells. It makes a huge difference. I know the 84% roll sucks on my doryanis but it won't get much better tooltip damage wise.

Hey loving your build so far <3

Just one question:

1. Since I play in LSC I can gear a bit more damage oriented. I think the best option in lategame would be a dagger+spirit shield combo with + spelldmg and +crit chance for spells right?

Exactly. But keep in mind that you wont be able to leap slam with a dagger. Sometimes it's really good to get over obsticles for huge shortcuts. You could just replace Leap Slam by Flame Dash though.

Hi!
have a question, I'm on lvl 36 now using this build.
With passive Saboteur and additional mines should be able to put 5 mines from what I understand but only can put 3 if getting the fourth one the first one disappears, am I doing something wrong or is it supposed to be like that?

If you have skilled bomb specialist (first ascendary of sabo) you should be able to have 5 mines on the ground without any of them disappearing. Check the top left corner, there you can always see the amount of mines you have layed out at the moment. So spam it and check if it says 5. I would have checked your profile but you set in on private. If you change it , I can take a look my friend.

ok got it :) was my mistake as I used minefield support and its throws three mines at a time and didn't notice that counter in the top left corner :) thx for help everything's fine now :)
Why we need this rings? 0 resist -_-
lvl 46 in Cruel now, and it is starting to feel a bit... very squishy specially vs. ranged mobs. The damage is very good for trash, packs and yellows and it seems really good for breaches... Bossfights sometimes feel clunky and slow. Seems like a good build so far, so thanks a bunch for that. What I was curious about really though, was... My main question is - Can it reliably do uber lab later on for the last 2 Ascendancy points? I always hated lab on non Armor + Very high HP defensive builds so much, since Traps + Izaro is all phys and just oneshots you if you make a single mistake if you don't have the HP and phys mitigation to take that hit.

Hope you have time to answer. Thanks for a good build so far :)
Could you also write which stats to prioritize
thx :)
I have question. Why you double Enfeblee ?
I'm finding the build very squishy at level 81, is it my gear or did I mess up somewhere?
