Lagspikes Frankfurt Server

Unplayable from mid europe too (Hungary)

I just started doing races, i have found a new thing to do on a daily basis and as soon as i discovered it it seems to be gone :S

And by the responses i gather that there is nothing i can do and it seems like little if anything that ggg is willing to do. Looks like we have to set sail for another arpg... ?

Mmm... Frankfurt server, you suck! (all day - every day)

I live in germany and by far the worst connection is... to the german server (Frankfurt) x.X
Have seen some troubleshooting with hide.me etc... but my problem was solved when I switched to London.

Most of the time it's better to play on an US (!!) server instead of Frankfurt... and Frankfurt is like 100 miles away (that's nothing) compared to every other server.

London: 2nd best ping (40-50), 95% stable connection
Amsterdam: 3rd best ping (60-100), 80% stable connection
Frankfurt: best ping (20-30), stable connection at 2am - 6am (most of the days, not all -.-) - rest of the day unplayable x.X

any non EU Server: bad bad ping but stable connection ><



Don't think Frankfurt host service is a good partner for you game GGG :/

The thing is that Deutsche Telekom and Level 3 are doing what they did over years by blaming each other and we (the consumers) are getting fucked over it.
We have no way of doing anything against it and as long as the politics allow that to happen it will happen again and again.

I've given up on getting a second challenge done by clearing Tempests. I can live with the (1) although I usually get 3-5 but I reeeeeaally hope these issues are somewhat solved for the start of the 1 month race or I'll be a sad panda.
It's ridicolous how powerless we are in this situation. I'm not even a customer of Telekom, it's just their infrasturcture. I guess one could go for a class action suit or something like that if one had the means and knowledge but that's not really worth it unless it's aim would be to generally change how internet infrastructure is handled.

BattlePing program does help and reduce the ms , but as trial account I'm getting disconnected from PoE every 20 min and thats a big negative and downside .

Yeah alot of players, who play on EU have terrible lag spikes , its not just you

Hat jemand schon mal bei der Telekom angerufen?
Ich würde das ja mal machen, aber was soll man da sagen? "ja hallo ich hab ping probleme in Path of Exile" die können doch eh nix mit dem spiel anfangen.
Ich kann mir aber auch einfach nicht vorstellen das es an der Telekom liegt alles funktioniert bis auf PoE nicht, würde es an der telekom liegen müsste es doch jedes Spiel betreffen und ist ja nicht so das GGG nie probleme mit den servern hat.
Ich kann das spiel nun seit über einer woche nicht mehr spiele. Ich log ein und kann sofort wieder offline gehen weil die ping 80-400 schwankt.

Dieses Battleping hab ich probiert und ja es funktioniert, aber das ist keine lösung für mich, ich werd mir kein programm kaufen wegen einem spiel nur weil GGG das mit den servern nicht gebacken bekommt.
