You get no argument from me there. Reward failure get more failure. Banks, automaker, poor. It's called enabling in psychology. Moral hazard in economics.

Conversely tax something get less from fines to big taxes on business that drives them out.

I think if we are going to have taxes they should be regressive instead of progressive. To force ppl out of poverty. Like Mayweather would pay no taxes.

we may have really really messed up letting dick cheney set the rules of the game. private military corporations are a very real thing now, and can only benefit from situations like isis and ukraine, thinking they wouldn't stir the pot to create those situations which highly reward them financially and with more work would be a serious case of broken logic.

I don't know the answer here, but I a almost certain that electing any republican candidate will lead to major expansions of the roles pmc's fill worldwide, from every rich nation. And that governments will no longer be fighting wars it will be mercenary outfits with no national collar, no public leash, and no 'side'.

For the time being, there is no way to make them un-exist, and they will continue to make lots of money delivering misery to every day people world wide, but we do not have to empower them and expand their nation based contracts and revenue streams. Almost all of (former)black water equipment was sold to them by US government, we need to not be selling tools of war to private corporations, and we need to punish defense contractors that sell to non-nation entities.
