What if the notion of "legacy" didn't exist for standard leagues?

This part bothers me the most though. Since they are your for lack of a better word, constant player-base, why have I never heard any comment or any reasoning behind a change saying "Oh they changed this game with taking into account the Standard" or something along those lines?

And i want us to live in a world without hate and war. We cant always have what we want OP and if you hate balance and rather have silly OP items then go make your own game. I wonder how long it will last.

For every change that alienates a part of the community GGG caters to less and less ppl.

The legacy thing is the biggest reason that I have 9 friends who refuses to play on. And that just makes me whine abit because it lessens my own expirience of the game. Will try out 2.0 but after that I guess it will be 10 ppl on that list.

I wonder how many different "classes" of players GGG considers their playerbase divided into. I also wonder if they have any way of testing their classification.

Because less than 5% of the players post on the forums or redit.
