Why don’t we remove trading altogether?

Yea, we did the same thing with desync, and look where it got us... oh wait.

There's a slight difference between the two; desync has been acknowledged as a problem by GGG from the beginning, while by now they've said several times that they are happy with the economy-centric itemization of the game :)
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

I cant believe he compared desync which was being worked on as it was a problem to something entirely different.

I know right? Sheesh - obviously everyone is perfectly happy getting their drops algorithms based purely on the fact that you must trade in order to get ahead. Sheeeesh - I mean: obviously!

That's just not true. Most people just cannot accept the fact that they won't get the best gear if they don't trade. The game is playable perfectly fine without trading.

People wouldn't be that happy if good gear was found more frequently.
Rather the opposite: They would lose their motivation even faster.

Don't camouflage your beliefs as the "truth".

The game is DESIGNED around the ability to trade. Let's qoute grindinggeargames.com:

"As veterans of various online role playing games, we understand what is required to make an addictive action RPG with visceral combat and a complex item economy."

The economy is one of the key elements to the game. And you say drop rate algorithms are not based on the ability to trad based on what? That's just preposterous. You are SUPPOSED to trade in this game. Of course the drop rates are balanced there after <--- Truth? Who knows. Likely? Absolutely.

Saying drop rates in PoE isn't designed around the ability to trade, is the same thing as saying drop rates in The Witcher 3 is based on the ability to trade. Makes no sense.

Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

I didn't say that, did I?
Many here like to interpret things.

You can play the game selffound. It's just not likely that you will ever obtain all kind of high end gear all by yourself.

Dont remove trading, they did that in D3 and it kinda ruined the game for me
I dont see any any key!

gaem is fine as is. self-found can get you to every piece of content in the game, even competing against people trading.
Hey...is this thing on?

Huge no vote to remove trading. It's actually a pretty silly request.

However... the more reasonable request here would be to create a permanent self found league for those of us who want to play in one.

You know why most people would play in a selffound league with higher droprate if it existed?
It's demotivating the others players to know that others can achieve more things in less time. No one likes that feeling.

I'm hugely against everything that separates the community. They cannot create a league for everyone who does not like the current design of the game. That's why I hope there never actually will be paid leagues.

All you want is increased numbers. That's what Blizzard does, but GGG is, most time, more creative.

It is a reasonable request, will it ever happen... probably not, of course there was a time I thought desync would never be addressed so I guess anything can happen

This topic has been hashed and rehashed until it should be a banned topic. They're not going to make their game easier so that people can play solo and have the rewards come at the same rate that traders currently see. Period. End of story.

If you want to play solo... great! Live with the scarcity and enjoy it. I do.

If you want to trade... great! You'll make the game far easier, and if that's your thing, great!

But quit wanting to change the game so that you can have it easy and fun... the two are contradictory. You would ruin the game you love.
