Illegal content - Players should not post content that includes information of how to use or acquire illegal substances (in-game and real-world).

Don’t post any content that advocates or makes light of sexual abuse, sexual assault, any other illegal sexual acts, violence, self harm and suicide.

I would also like to alter the terms around non-constructive posting but we're still thinking of the best way to do this. Before I make the above change official, I'm keen to get your feedback on it. Let me know what you think.

while I can see what you mean, you should add "no dark humour allowed" for im sure I've had posts edited in the past and never seen a single thread about it on off-topic.

and be true, there's at least one word I know of that I cant say here no matter what, Im sure as I've had a post with the correct usage of it in the past without advocating or making light of it
. I had a talk with one moderator and I understand the reason (exactly what TaKtiCz is talking about, freedom of speech being held hostage by extremists).
I just dislike the non-disclosure of that fact. (for that matter, before that mod, there was a ninja edit by another mod in an older thread, and on a second one refusing to answer the why on the edit until I just gave up as I felt I would just waste the time of higher ups. I had no idea why those edits happened before.)

This forum may be one thing, but its not a 18+ forum.
Lets face it, while the game would easily be rated such due to nudity and gore the forums are catered to children. To call it mature would be untrue.
unless you mean the "overly serious kid" meaning of mature. It sure as hell isnt adult.

Dark humor is fine and isn't forbidden per-say. There's a line man and don't act like you don't know what acceptable societal norms are. As a general rule, if you cant say it in public, you probably cant say it here. That's hardly draconian.

Yeah this forum is slowly becoming like NeoGAF. NeoGAF went to shit once it got some tumblr-tier mods (this is not a jab at Bex btw she's doing a great job). A couple of days ago there was a thread about some hot dog seller in New York who was scamming tourists by selling them hot dogs for 30(!) dollars. Some people pointed out that those tourists were dumbasses and they got instabanned from the forum for 'victim blaming'. I'll never visit that forum ever again lol.
