Since Dsync is a dev choice and not a bug...Isnt there a way to warn us or let us know somehow?
" That's actually perfectly fine. We all reach a breaking point whether it is a boredom, or a change, or a mechanic. This is not the way to handle it though. If any of you think this is an effective means to an end, you're badly mistaken. This approach sounds like a 5 year old throwing a tantrum, not a mature adult that wants to influence change. What is the goal? Tantrum? GGG just came out and said half of their development staff is dedicated to performance and sync improvement. That's huge. So seriously, what is the point of these childish rants and spamming the same falsehoods and vitriol? Thanks for all the fish!

" It's not any different than all these poe kids telling mods to perma ban everyone using the term "desync" on this forum. Or telling people to stfu and suck it up and spam a script with a 3rd party scripting program or gtfo. The real hardcore PoE players and the elites sit in town and zoning in and out of their hideouts trading items. Noobs that don't know how to play PoE correctly, kill monsters for items. It's pure fact, it will never change.

"when did they said that? *going on reddit* ZiggyD is the Labyrinth of streamers, some like it, some dont, but GGG will make sure to push it down ur throat to make you like it

" Q&A in announcements. I'd copy but on a phone and that's awkward. Thanks for all the fish!

"Got it Right now, half of our programming manpower is allocated to QOL/performance/sync improvements. Sadly It could be 90% qol, 9% performances, 1% sync the main issue to work on is Desync and sadly performance is not something that requires alot of work, atleast in man power, it takes a psychologist to help Chris mentaly to understand that Lag is more threatening to immersion than rain... ZiggyD is the Labyrinth of streamers, some like it, some dont, but GGG will make sure to push it down ur throat to make you like it

Chris said in an interview recently that changing the netcode took a lot more then they (he) thought it would, im glad they are working on it, most of the time im ok with my desync but its a big minus in a great game.

" PoE without (serious & constant) desync will be a dream come true and I might have a chance to get my 3 buddies back who got fed up with desync and "settled" with D3 due to overall gaming fluidity... which they eventually moved on to Marvel Heroes which also plays as smooth as D3. I can see PoE get a good amount of players as well as many returning players if GGG can finally figure out how to code their stuff correctly. The real hardcore PoE players and the elites sit in town and zoning in and out of their hideouts trading items. Noobs that don't know how to play PoE correctly, kill monsters for items. It's pure fact, it will never change.

Id pay $50 for a offline (thus desync free) version with 10x drop rate and decent crafting. Desync is really bad for me. Often like 4-5 an hour I find myself snapping back to a whole nother room. Cured me of playing HC for good.
If you watch my videos of doing atziri or something you can see it. I lightning warp and nothing happens. I mean plays animation but doesnt move me. It's like I have to build supertank even in SC if I want to level. Git R Dun! Last edited by Aim_Deep#3474 on Mar 2, 2015, 2:09:34 AM

" If people continue to start these threads over and over that means theres a problem with it, dont you think? |

" It only shows, that people are oblivous to the concept of random number generation. Most likely because they dropped out of school. |
