True gamers don't cheat!

im a true gamer, and i want to exelent in game in all the aspect of it.

i dont attent cheats, any type of bot or hack or ageints game policy macros.

if rmt/botting did not exist how wud the game look..
on sc a mirror wud be worth 100 ex max on sc.

mirror fees wud be 10-20 ex max

eternals wud cost 2,5ex

good endgame gear 1 tier or 2 below mirror worthy wud be valued 70-80% of mirror gear.

this goes for standard league..

what wud it remove on leagues..

shavs and stuff in start of league wud be put up for sale on forums and not ebay in start of league+ sold for a currency lvl that ppl acculy wud be able to affort in that time frame of the league.

ex wud drop value stay around 30c each.

et wud be 2 ex.

i find from talking to ppl... that softcore league is extremly infested with rmt and especialy botting. since its the gateway to fast currency+being noticed if u can fast clime ladder

hc league significant less infected since heavy botting issent easy. and rmt is mainly in few noticable "shady" persons on top ladder.

being said so i done alot of sell of mirror originals or mirror services where i cud 99% say that i was trading with a chinse/russian/arabic ´bigtime rmter... lvl 50. with pure understanding of game with hundreds of ex,et, mirrors in stash trading for bis original with out question to price.

however with no clue how to determin anything about the facts,, what to do.

All one can do is be a "true gamer" as the OP put it and choose not to cheat, and report it when you are aware of it.

And the only way to "choose not to cheat" is to play solo/self-found. Any trading or MP and you're cheating by proxy.

Oh get off your self found high horse shags, im not going to hamstring myself just because the Item might have come from a cheater somewhere down the line. (i would not buy from a know cheater however)

If you want to grind for items till you eyes bleed go for it but stop acting like you oh so holy and pure and dumping on people who trade.

The game is built upon tradeing, are you saying anyone who traded should be banned for "cheating by proxy"

I've traded, I guess that makes me a cheater by proxy. I've also paid a lot of money to GGG to help fund the game. So that makes anyone who plays the game, funded by cheaters, a cheater by proxy, also. How ironic.

You seem to be the one angry about something... not me. I know I wouldn't last a week if I traded for stuff, simply because I wouldn't care about the game anymore. So I don't trade. It doesn't mean I disrespect people who trade. What I do disrespect are the people who trade and claim that they're pure or "true". That's bullshit.

people who make trading a regular part of their PoE gameplay, are not "less pure" than you or me.

I hate it. I hate the fact the game is balanced around it.
but I do not have anything against people who trade.
as long as they don't cheat, RMT, or screw over other people, that is.
because then they'd be scum.
all my complaints about trade and trade-centered design/balance, are at GGG.

trading can be called "proxy cheating" and even "proxy RMTing" - but that's like saying you support Chinese child labor by buying a modern-day gadget.
you have no way of knowing if your shiny new piece of electronics was made by a child or not, or the factory which created it even employs children.
by extension, you have no way of knowing if that item or orb you got from trade, was originally RMTed or duped, then changed hands multiple times before you got it.
not a fair terminology, in my opinion.

They're not cheating. They're playing by their ruleset. As long as they understand that their rule set allows for them to trade for items that have been made by cheaters, that's great. Playing with people who cheat doesn't work for me. If you're fine with it, that's great.

I'm more than okay with it. I love trading in this game.

if i found an exploit like those i'd just use it to get stuff for theorycrafting builds in new leagues
