I'm glad that trade threads keep surfacing because, let's face it, in-game trade sucks. The trade itself is well enough, but searching through walls of text and trying to get others' attention in trade chat is utterly obnoxious. I'm not suggesting that we do away with trade chat, but there really should be some kind of trade hub, either in-game or hosted on this site by GGG, where you can look up specific items with specific stats to buy and sell your own.
If it weren't for poe.xyz.is, I would have quit this game long ago. Another issue I have is that the Noticeboard is cluttered with trade options! When I go to the Noticeboard, I go there to look for a multiplayer party, not to buy items. There should at least be an option that lets you create a fighting party or a trade party, and you should be able to filter out either of those at will.
